Truck Reviews

My top 3 picks: 1. Grindking 2. Independent 3. Thunder
Action
These trucks are great for beginners, they sometimes are found at the same price other trucks are but sometimes you might find these at really cheap prices. They are a little bit heavy, last a fair time and turn alright. They aren't the best trucks but they are worth they money if you can find them at a cheap price. You might find these on welfare completes at stores like walmart, these are Pro truck though.
Destroyer
I hear these trucks are great, everything thing is perfect except the bushings are really bad and they are a little heavy.
Destructo
A lot of people really like these trucks, but me, I don't. I don't think they are really bad I just think they are a little heavy. Others say the are perfect, though I do have to admit these trucks grind really smooth.
GrindKing
The lightest, most popular, best king pin, best looking, the best. I love these trucks they are the only kind I ever get they are the best trucks, the king pin is the best, it has the little Allen key end which give the truck about double the area you can grind down on the truck. They turn really great, never had problems there is only one down side, since they are so light they don't have the strongest material so they do wear down pretty quick. But since they have the perfect king pin that gives you double the area you can grind it makes up for it.
Independent
They trucks are the heaviest and the strongest. They barely wear down, my friend once had these and the lasted him one full year of solid daily skating. They were barely worn down, he just wanted to try out different kinds of trucks so he left these alone. The turn great, longest lasting but heaviest.
Krux
A lot of people say these are alright but I wouldn't recommend them, there is always problems with the tightness, it just doesn't work.
Monster
Some like them some say they suck. The main problems with these seem to be the bushings and the weakness, people say they break, the king pin and the hanger and also people say the bushings are really poor quality. The one big plus is the don't wear down from grinds too much.
Orion
These trucks are pretty good, fairly light, turn really well and they last along time. I wouldn't say these trucks are the ones you should buy but I'm pretty sure you won't regret it if you do.
Phantom
Ok these trucks are pretty good, not many problems with these, some people say the king pins snap and so do the base plates. Though I do hear the new ones (Phantom 2) trucks are really, really good something that people have recommended.
Royal
This is a brand of trucks a lot like a lot, they seem to be perfect for a lot of people. I have never tried them, but people say they are like grind kings only they don't wear down quick and don't have the special king pin.
Ruckus
I won't list the good things, I will just say they are great trucks and a lot of people like them.
Tensor
Everyone likes these, except me. I really hate them, I had them and I know what they are like. I had the Tensor lows, first of all it is really hard to turn, I don't know what is up with these, its not the bushings, the bushings are the best, its just the have a weird design and they don't turn right. Well after these trucks getting really lose and still not being able to turn at all and the wheels always hitting the deck when you try to turn I decided to tighten them. Then the king pin stuck out, about after a month of riding it was no long possible to grind rails and it was hard to grind boxes too. I do know know why they don't turn right and I will explain it. When you turn on most trucks you will see the wheels moving inward or out, this is what causes a turn. On Tensor trucks you won't see this, they move totally even which causes MAJOR turning trouble. I do admit that these trucks are really strong, don't break and barely wear down. I also think they are not bad looking and fairly light. Great trucks except for turning.
Thunder
These trucks are really great, pretty much perfect, they aren't as light as grind kings but they last long and are really tough. Should be one of your top picks
Venture
These trucks are pretty good, turning is great, last a really long time and no king pin problems, some say they break but every truck can break a king pin every once in a while. I don't really like the looks and I think they are a bit low to the ground.
World Industries
Well I know these guys make decks, there decks are like there trucks CRAP. The look perfect, trucks look big and beefy and really cool decks have really nice graphics and good concave. The trucks really suck, everything breaks.
