Tips: Grinds & Slides: There are so many ways to take snapshots of grinds. My favorite one is definitely taking the shot while sitting on the ground 45 degrees to the grind target. One thing that is very important when taking this shot is always try to take the shot on the side where you see the skaters face. Unless you like filming his ass. Another way to take grinding pictures is take it straight a line with the ledge. That way it is very easy to tell what kind of grind it is. If it is a nose grind or a B/S Crooked Grind. From my experiences this doesn't look very good. But it's your choice I can't tell you how to take your pictures.

Air and Flip tricks: There are a couple good ways to take air and flip trick pictures. First I will talk about air. Since now jumping gaps and stairs is become very popular you will have to be taking a lot of these kind of pictures. The best thing to do is like the grind go at a 45 degree angle from your target. Depending how big it is then farther you go or closer. Get down low or even lie down on the cement. That way the gap looks bigger. Try to get the picture as the skater is at the highest point. Another good way to take pictures of gaps (But this only works with big gaps like 8-12+ stair kind of gaps) is crouching down on the 3 stair from the bottom or wherever you really like and taking the picture when the skater is somewhere overtop of you. The shouldn't be directly overtop the should be about a 1 - 2 meters away. It is very hard to do but if you can try to fit the whole gap some of the run way and some of the landing. For flip tricks it is best to make sure your skater has a very high Ollie so his trick looks high of the ground. Get down really low and take the picture from whatever angle you like.
