So we've pretty much finished our move to the new system. It's still new so people will need to get settled.

I'll start with the big changes first.

Take note of the Read More link at the bottom of "teasers". - often when browsing content in a general section like the home page, or categories you will get a list of "teasers". They only show partial content of the actual article, so you must click Read More at the bottom. (Try that out now, since this post will be longer then what you currently see).

While your down looking at that link, Take note of the #.Comments link. A cool part of this new content system is that it intergrates with our forum. Part of that is that almost every peice of content will have a thread in a hidden part of the forum. The thread will contain a very short "teaser" and link to the full article, and every reply to that thread is a comment. (Try it out on THIS post too. Take note that the first 15 comments are also displayed when viewing the FULL peice of content).

Some other changes which you might notice include the "Home" link is no longer in the Navigation on the left, but in the middle in whats called a "Breadcrumb". As you navigate deeper into the subsections of the site you will notice this breadcrumb will contain links back to "Home >> Category >> Subcategory"
That's a minor change...

There's lots more to come with this new setup. Stories section still needs to be converted over from the old system.
There will be more posts to come on how this new system will work, we've had lots of great ideas submitted to us which we want to look into. (Weather forecasts customized per member, redoing the entire trick tips, getting content writers for the site to keep things fresh...)
