Alright, it's been decided. You already called up your best skate buddies and you picked out the spots to check out. You get dressed and pick up your board. Just as soon you are about to leave for the door, you immediately think of some problems that might occur. “What if I injure myself?” Or “What if I get thirsty?” Well if you were thinking this. You should sit back down and read this guide before you start thrashing.
Ingredients To A Great Session
Here some things that you will need for you to have a smooth and fun skate session. Water/Drinks – Pretty obvious. Whether it is hot or cold out. Your going to be sweaty and thirsty if your skating all over the place. So it is nice to bring some bottles of water and/or your favorite drink to tag along with you when you are in need of some serious thirst quenching. Extra Clothing – You never know. You might fall in a puddle during a wet session. Or you have enough sweat in your clothing to help a small village survive from dehydration. Either way, it is nice to have a extra shirt or pants to wear if you are feeling a bit uncomfortable. Or you can just go shirtless. Towels and/or Blow-dryer – This is completely optional. If it is a wet session, it is good to bring a few towels or even better a battery charged blow-dryer. To dry off your shoes, to clearing up the runway to the set.
Extra Skate Wear – Bring a little bit of everything. Extra bearings, trucks, kingpins, bolts and especially a deck. You never know what might snap apart so it’s good you have a bit of everything so your session doesn’t die early. Make sure you bring tools and wax!
Snacks – If you’re going to be walking and skating to a bunch of places, your going to have the munchies. So bring some snacks while you’re at it. Chips, sandwiches, anything you like.
Cell Phone – Never know what might happen. Might have to call the hospital if something serious happens. Or you might just ask your parents for a ride home. Either way, it’s good to bring a cell phone with you to make life easier.
Money –If you just need to buy a extra bolt for your board. Or you want to eat at some fast food joint. It’s good to bring some money with you. Nothing major. Just a good 10 bucks will get you through a hard session.
Bandages/Pain Relievers – Hey, let’s admit it, concrete isn’t forgiving. So if you bounce your head off that 8 set, your head isn’t going to feel too great. So it’s good to bring some Advil or any other pain reliever to fix you up. Also, if you have some minor cuts, make sure you bring some bandages to fix you up.
Filming - If you're gonna be filming make sure your battery is charged, you have a spare tape, and most important you have a head cleaner. Remember, or else your going to miss good footage.
Well that’s all your going to need to have your session run smoothly and safely. Skate hard and have fun!

P.S. u 4got helmets kids moms make them wear
a. you want better leg movement
b. you can run faster from the police (they like to give us tickets now.. a holes)
also I dont have a van to follow me around I'm not apart of baker sk8 boards and im not shooting a video I get the occasional friend to tag along and film us with his camara wich is 7-8 megapixles that fits in his pocket wich works just fine for sk8ting minus the all important fish eye and his shooting skills suck by we help him out and were thankfull to have him along.
watch your sk8 vids guys youll imporve as for this guide..
bring a cell phone and 5 bucks
drinking fountains are all over
wash your cut off in a drinking fountain and your fine or go into a store somewhere and put soap on it
while your in the store go to where the pain relievers are at open it and get a couple for that major headache you have
finally go put on some deoderant should be in the same isle
finish up by grabbing yourself a snack in the bagel area stay healthy :) and should anyone question what your doing in your little shopping spree tell them your trying before your buying. its an incredibly stupid thing to say but it should give you enough time to assess the situation and find your nearest exit wich is all that really matters. o and camaras dont wory about those your using some deoderant not stealing it :)
now that you went in and got all the essentials your board just broke after ollying the 10 set that leads out of the store ohhh noooo your board snapped well what you would do is 1. get really pissed off 2. go home and get money
3.go to local sk8 shop 4. buy board 5. go sk8 the same set and show it how big of a man you are. dont quit :)
dont bring 30-40 bucks with you all over the place because
1. you might lose it :*(
2.if your like me theirs a good chance that you have been robbed(stupid me forgot I had a sk8board in my hand and could have smashed the guy in his head) o well im ready for the next assclown that comes along :)
so yah where im at we sk8 in shady areas even though the houses are worth around 700-900grand the homeless and the poor migrate to this area because of the local bars and clubs theirfor we have tons of opportunity to get fucked with and boy do people fuck with us.
I always end up forgetting someting and end up being pissed off an hour after I start skating at my self haha.
