360 Underflip
By badasskater at 2008-03-10 16:10

360 underflips are probably one of my favorite tricks and they are very stylish. I'm going to teach you how to do them.

Tricks you might want to learn before trying this trick:
Backside 360 pop shove it, Pop shove it underflips, Impossibles

What is a 360 underflip?
Well, a 360 underflip is a 360 backside pop shove it with a back foot flip. The flip is flipping the board from underneath, hence the name, underflip.

The Setup

^^ That is what I find worked for me the best. The setup is the most important part of the trick. Your front foot should be about in the middle of the board in about a 45 degree angle. Your back foot is essential. You want to hang your toe off the board alot. You should be able to feel the concave of the board with the balls of your feet. The back foot positioning enables you to get under the board and give it a good "under" flip.

The nollie varial flip:

Alright The nollie varial flip, now this is actually a very easy trick to do once you have a good overall board feel and have the basics of nollie down. Well a few tricks you should have before you start trying this trick are:

-Nollie Pop shove it
-Nollie flip
-Fakie Varial flip(Just so you have the feel of the trick)

Frontside shove it- Revert

Front shove Reverts

Let me start off by saying that this is a very awkward trick to learn.
You definently need to have good frontside pop shove its. Your fs shoves
should be able to pop at least a few inches off the ground before learning these.
What happens in this trick is you do a Frontside shove it and you revert back like a nollie fs 180.
Got it? Sounds complicated but it's not, I'll keep it short and sweet so let's get to it.

Setup
The setup for this trick is essintially the same as a normal fs shove.

Helipops

How to do a helipop. Well first off you need to know that a hellipop is a basically a nollie full cab. Here I'm teaching a backside helipop, but doing it is essentially the same for both ways. This trick is a fun trick to add to your arsenal and not too difficult to learn. These tricks are great to throw into the start of lines because you end up right where you started. You basically need to know 2 tricks before you start to learn this.
