Alright, backside bigspins... In case you don't know, this trick is the act of doing a 360 backside shove it, and a 180 backside body varial. You and your board spin in the same direction. It's a really neat trick, to say the least. If you need help with it, this tip is for you.
Some people will tell you this trick is very different than backside 360 shoves.. Some people will say backside bigs are easier. And some people will be right, honestly. You might not need to know this trick to learn the trick.. But people are different, and somethings help some people more than they do for others. But this is one of the fundamental tricks involved in the backside bigspin, so I'd suggest knowing them.
Other Skills:
Remember, you're going to be landing switch on this one, so be comfortable riding switch enough to ride away.
What You May Find Useful:
I know, it's no secret, not by any means.. But just for the record, fakie backside bigspins are much easier than doing them in regular stance. Knowing those can help you better understand the trick, so I'd suggest figuring those out if you can.
Doing The Trick
Positioning:
The back foot
The back foot is really important on this trick. You want to place it in that pocket of the tail, with a slight angle that will allow a solid scoop motion.
The front foot
The front foot needs to be placed a few inches behind the front bolts, at most. I personally prefer to scoot it a little further up, and have it about a half an inch under them.
Motion:
Alright, now that the foot positioning is out of the way, we're good to go. Give yourself a few pushes, and get set up.
Before you begin to do any footwork on the skateboard, you will want to wind your body up a little bit, in the opposite direction you're gonna spin
Unwind your upper body, and as your upper body is lined up with your board, begin to scoop the tail and start the board rotation.
Know that this trick is more of a 'scoop' than a 'pop' trick. You sort of will sweep the tail around, rather than popping it down real hard.
As you do your sweeping motion, lift your legs up slightly and let your upper body spin the backside 180, but make sure you focus on the board and watch it spin the 360 rotation. Also, take note that the 360 motion of the board isn't going to require a terribly lot of force, because the motion of your body rotating will greatly help you in the spinning of the board.
Watch the board under you and time up your landing. Ideally, you want finish up your 180 degree body rotation at the same time your board finishes up its 360 degree spin, but don't stress it too hard if it's not timed perfectly.
If you manage to catch your deck with your feet a little bit early and the rotation isn't complete, you can try to guide it through the end of the rotation quickly with a powerslide or pivot.
Land with your feet on the bolts and absorb impact as you see fit. Remember, you're going to be in switch now, so make sure you put a little bit more effort in staying balanced over your board if you need to. Once you got that all done, ride away as clean as ya can, you've done it.

Troubleshooting
Man, this can be a frustrating trick at first. If you run into any problems yourself, check out below and hopefully we can sort them out.
My board flips over while it spins
This can happen somewhat easily, but it's not a terribly hard thing to fix. You just need to focus on your back foot's scooping/sweeping motion a bit more. Make sure you're keeping your foot leveled, and you're directly over your board. If the board is flipping, it's going to be because your back foot.
My board gets away from me while it spins
Can't land a trick if the board is too far away from you, now can you? If this is a problem for you, make sure you're getting a clean sweeping motion with your back foot, first off.
Also, you might want to consider trying to jump with your board. Understand that it will slightly move out in front of you, so sort of jump in that direction, focusing on staying over your board at all times. This can be really weird at first, but you'll get the hang of it in no time.
The rotation doesn't complete before I land on my board
If your board isn't spinning completely, you can simply try putting a little more force into the scoop, and try to make it spin a little faster. Also, don't hesitate to try to finish up the trick with a powerslide/pivot if you feel like you might need to.
If your upper body isn't spinning all the way, you need to wind up a little bit more before you begin the trick. It's really not hard to make your body spin 180 degrees, so simply just messing with it a few times will likely have you understanding how you need to go about doing things. Remember, the motion of your body is very important here, and it greatly helps you in making your board spin completely, so make it as clean as possible.
I land, but my board shoots out from under me
If you're landing this but then falling off, don't stress it too much, 'cause you've almost got this trick done. Just make sure you're staying completely over your board at all times, and that when you land you're not leaning too far in any direction. And again, as you already know, you're going to be landing switch, thus you will need to focus a bit more on maintaining enough balance.
This trick can be weird, but just keep messing with it and stick on it. You'll figure it out, for sure.
Where Do I Go From Here?
Where do you go? Ah, that's one of the coolest things about this trick.. As in, I mean, there are so many things to do with this! You can try to throw a flip in there, maybe you want to mess with learning bigflips? Or maybe you just want to take this to your favorite gap. It's a world of possibilities, that's for sure, so have fun with it!
Thanks man. And yeah, I'll try to get all the images and such for it. I know sometimes it's just hard to understand how shit is supposed to be, and it's really easier to just be able to look at it for yourself.
