Ricta SuperCrystals

Background

Over the past two years, I have rode one set of wheels. The Ricta Supercrystals were the wheels of choice. I don’t know where to begin when I can remember everything I have done with these wheels. You can ride them on anything, and they are really durable and trustworthy. This is the Ricta Supercrystal review.

Product Review

Rideability = Excellent

These wheels are made for all terrain. Go skate your box, your park, or your streets, these wheels will shred them all. With the ultra urethane outer, you can ride anything smoothly and comfortably without the shakyness and vibration of another wheel. Ride this wheel because you can go on any terrain with it. The wheel really gives you a good feel.

Durability = Perfect

Yes, I said that this wheel has a perfect durability rating. I have had these wheels for over two years and they still ride perfect. Although, they were obviously worn down, they still had not one crack and one flat spot. You could of fit them inside the hole of a donut, but they were still some of the most reliable wheels out there. If you are looking for a wheel that will last and be good for a long time, these are the ones to get.

Manufacturing = Excellent

This wheel is built in many different sizes to suit your needs. The sizes range from forty – eight millimeters to fifty three millimeters. However, this is not the only perk of buying these wheels. The ultra urethane that Ricta uses is very light weight, keeping those board weights down to a minimum. Although it is not a lot of weight, the excessive weight will keep your ollie from getting to its highest point. Lastly, they made the wheel prone to cracking and flat spots, and this is a plus for every skateboarder. The manufacturers did a good job constructing this wheel.

Styles = Good

Colors : Black, Red, Pink, Yellow/Orange, Green, Blue, Purple

The styles look good at first and letters are in tact, but as you skate along, they get worst fairly fast. The see-through urethane becomes unsee-through in about a week or two depending on what you are skating. I don’t really like this because it makes the wheels look kind of dirty, but it really isn’t all that bad.

Zemba’s overall skater rating = Excellent

Just because these are the most well known wheel company doesn’t mean that they are poserish or junk. These are probably the best wheels I have ever ridden and I would advise anyone to buy them. Although it is a fortune, they will last longer than any wheel probably and won’t break on you for a very long time.

Pricing

Regular Price : 39.95-42.95
Sale Price : 29.95 – 34.95
Hopefully, you will be lucky enough to find the sale price of these because even the sale price is still as expensive as regular wheels. It is well worth it though.

Helpful tip

I would advise to rotate these wheels every so often, since they break down easily because of the type of materials used.
