Nike SB Harbor

Nike SB Harbor Official Site: www.nikeskateboarding.com

The Nike SB Harbor Zoom Air features vulcanized constuction, Zoom Air insole and classic Nike construction. These are clean and classy but built for skate wear and tear.
Price: $65.00 retail

Style: A slim, sleek shoe with a vulcanized sole. The yellow swoosh is very bright and really stands out, depending if you like flashy shoes this could be a good or a bad thing. The shoe comes in a variety of colorways so it won't be hard to find a colorway you like.

Boardfeel: These broke in really quickly and you can quickly notice the amazing boardfeel, you will not want to get new shoes for this reason alone. You can feel the concave perfectly at all times and will not mess up on setting up for your tricks. But it does kill the impact support, living up to the vulcanized ways. I'd give the boardfeel a 10/10, it's truly incredible. Comfort/Impact Support: Along with amazing boardfeel usually comes a really thin shoe, this is no exception, I could feel pain in my foot on a 4 stair. The sides of the shoe are also extremely thin and have practically no padding at all, easy ankle rolls. The insoles were actually really thick though, the Zoom Air insole is incredible and I will use it in future shoes. And also, if you have wide feet I'd steer clear of these, they can be really tight around your foot before they loosen up, my feet were killing my the first few days. Really depends on what you like, for me it deserves a 5/10. Grip: The first few tricks I tried I couldn't even come close to landing, while I was flicking the outsole attached to my griptape. It obviously loosened up and was great. It didn't have the "dot" pattern most vulcanized soles have. It was more of a bunch of short lines going in no particular direction. It lasted a decent amount of time, nothing out of the ordinary. The soles were decently grippy, but the thing is is that when I had multiple wholes the would rip my socks, the soles were still perfect. The leather wasn't really grippy, I'm sure if you bought the suede ones they would be. 7/10. Durability: The thing that tons of people look for in a shoe, and this should can unfortunately be a disappointment. Like I said, you won't be disappointed with the soles. The stitching rips easily and can easily expose the shoe to more damage. The leather wasn't terrible but it wasn't great, fortunately, under the toecap there's 2 more layers, not that they're durable though. The first in just a "cotton-like" layer, the second looks and feel sort of like a stretched out sock. I'd give the durability a 5/10.

Overall: They skated amazingly, and if you're looking for a shoe that skates great and don't mind durability and only skate small obstacles, these are perfect for you. If you skate large obstacles and want a shoe to last a while, then don't get them. The durability and impact support will ruin the shoe for lots of skaters, sadly. But personally, I really liked these to skate small obstacles. I'd give them a 7/10.
