Have you ever met a smoker who's told you not to start smoking, because they started and now they can't stop?

I guess it's sort of like that here, only he is just telling us things to discourage anybody from starting.

I wouldn't say he's being a hypocrite, cause that shit is addicting, and it really is hard to stop.

I prefer a cigar once in a blue moon. And the best way for me to not get addicted is to not buy them. I figure the next time I'll smoke is when I graduate.

Yeah, well from one smoker to a "non-smoker": When I am at the skatepark and smoking, don't try to bum one off me because you "normally don't smoke" or "never buy them". Especially if you're obviously under 18. They're 4 dollars a pack so I am not giving you any.

It just so happens that you and I are healthy youth and right now have no diseases due to it. But I know there's an increased risk of asthma and I'm thinking that in later life you and I may have some lung problems.

regardless of whatever health hazards there are or aren't, i just don't like the smell.

i've actually smoked before a few times, but i never smoke anymore. for one thing, i don't wanna waste my money on that stuff. plus, i've had too many friends that were flat out addicted. they seriously wanted to quit but had a really hard time.
