*This stuff is pretty much the standard; lot's of shops will give you a sheet of this stuff with any board you buy for no cost, some will charge you, but the cost will always be pretty average. Just browsing some online skate shops, we find that Jessup Griptape is usually a dollar cheaper then other well known brands.
Applying this stuff, the glue feels strong, but not the rip-your-skin off kind of strength. This is not a bad thing though, because we've skated a lot of Jessup gripped board, and we've never ran into any troubles regarding the grip coming off.

i like this grip alot and buy it if im not too broke but i prefer mob grip.

Hey tom-e why dont you do one of these for mob grip.

I use this grip on my filmer boards, just because its cheaper. Its a good grip, not too rough, not too slick, wears off quicker than some others, overall a good grip. 7/10

yeh mobs the best. My friend got this 14 dollar stuff on his board 2 days ago and my week old mob still works better than it haha

Jessup is definitely better than Black Magic. Black Magic wears down quick for me.

in my opinion jessup is the best. dont get MOB, it sucks and falls off very easily. it is perferated to not get air bubbles but wen i had it it actually got more air bubbles than normal grip

I find jessup better for flip tricks then any other grip but black magic seems to be better for skating vert

I skate jessup my friend had mob and he peel the grip right off with no trouble after he broke his board

this grip is ok for being free (with my deck) but if i had a choice i would get mob because this stuff will peel off ur board pretty easily

i use black magic and it works really good it has good grip and it does kinda own your shoes but im alright with that. ive never tries jessup maybe i will next time i get a new deck

If you're not too picky when it comes to griptape jessup is a good bet. Not too pricey either.
