Well, my friend has both brands and he said that they both do fine, but it was up to me, I would say Alien.

I have a Habitat Hemp Ply deck and it's great. I also have had my share of Alien Workshop decks and they are definitely different. I would say go with Habitat because the Hemp Ply makes the difference. It feels like a regular board, but its way stiffer and has better pop.

yeah i had a tim o'connor hemp ply deck and it was awesome. the hemp keeps the pop nice and good. Also when i t snapped i could still ride it for a couple days with a big crack the hemp held it together.
