I did this the easy way and it doesn't look like anything in the picture.well, maybe a little.I used two footlong 2X6s for the base. Then I used two 1X1s for the posts.maybe they were a bout 2 foot 5inches or maybe 3 feet.I didnt attach the posts with a 2X4.But it works pretty good.(even though I can only ollie 3 inches...what? i live in north dakota and there is snow here and i can't practice my ollies that well.but luckily my dad owns a fat-ass shop. but barely any room with the pickups and every thing.)

I built one of these over the summer in like 10 minutes with some wood laying around in my yard and a long stick for the pole. I couldnt ollie over stuff back then and now I can ollie over 3 decks thanks to my ollie meter! The instructions for building this are bull just use two 2 by 4s placed vertical to the ground with nails in them and a long stick.

What do you think is a good skate thing that takes up little room and is good for beginers. I can ollie like a foot and a half and i can shove it... AND I NEED PRACTICE OLLIEING ON TO STUFF.

Sk8erMWS : If you need practice ollieing onto stuff id say just go to the nearest parking lot and ollie up the curbs onto the sidewalk. Practice until you can do that good then find something higher to do them onto (maybe even build a manny pad).
Peacepimp: Im pretty sure you/your friend doesnt know what a tre if he cant do a moving ollie, and if he can, thats f*cking crazy, can he do them moving? Ollie is the basic foundation of skateboarding, personally i cant imagine not being able to do one moving, but do whatever floats your boat... Keep skatin, kr3w |
