dude, these wheels seem pointless. NO friction? the whole reason wheels made a transition from clay to urethane back in the 70's, is because clay had no grip. it slid like crazy. Not good. So why would we take a step back in progress? no thanks, ill just take some 54 spits.

yeah...
i would have to agree it does not make any sence to have no friction. You need friction to move with out friction you could not drive a car..

Grip in skateboard wheels is so underrated, yes it would be nice to have wheels that powerslided and bluntslided easily, but certainly not at the expense of grip in all day every day riding, there's no comparison as far as what is more important, even if you're nuts for bluntslides like they're you're specialty, if you enjoy riding your skateboard from bluntslide to bluntslide and not cavemanning onto them then grip is more important.
If you go hard and fast and wax to the max you can always make it slide, it's harder but it should be hard, normal riding shouldn't be. |
