Default Some throwaway

throwaway on Vimeo

1st line is throwaway because it's just a dumb flat rail and I don't like to use footy of uninteresting spots. I had just learned those nollie back lips so don't give me too much shit for the slide being too short or idk. It's something we filmed just to mess around

2nd line might be keeper, I don't know. The reason why it's in there is because I filmed another version with a nollie 5-0 instead of the nollie 50-50 revert and a front foot impossible instead of the switch 3 pop shove, which is about equal but is poorly filmed, not to mention that I film nollie 5-0's and front foot impossibles too much. So I'm not sure which one I will use yet. I can upload the other version if you want to judge.

3rd clip is something that might have potential but is poorly done and I want to do a no-comply or even just a 180 ollie off the curb after the wallride, I need to go and refilm.

And 4th clip is just mess-around footy, but I think I don't even need to specify, you will see why it's a joke by yourself haha

And :

jiji on Vimeo

this is a line I've got like a half-dozen of versions of, but I can't seem to ever be satisfied with it whenever I get it on film, every time there is a little something that feels wrong and I feel the need to refilm it again and again, it sucks. The only thing I really dislike in this one is the filming, which is a shame because I somewhat like the looks of it besides that.

Constructive criticism is more than welcome

yay, new MRCK footage. your sw fs bigspins are really nice.
the first line looks really solid, I liked the tre.
the wallride spot looks so good to film.
I don't see any major filming mistakes on the last line except that the filmer was too far away after the sw laser though it doesn't really matter since it's only a sw fs 180. but I know what you mean, the filming could've been better on every single trick. It's hard to get a good filmer.

Thanks, yeah the wallride spot, it's one of those little rough street spots my city is full of, but noone ever bothers skating because they would rather go to parks or more convenient spots. I had spotted it by chance a couple of days before, eventually went there with my friend after a session and tried my trick for like 5 mins at the end of our day. It's sketchier than it looks, but it sure is fun, and has potential for a good trick.

And yeah I wish my friends could film, I have like 2 friends who can film somewhat decently, I barely even bother asking the others because I know the results are going to be awkward and I will feel the need to refilm it all at the end of the day haha.

my city is also full of little spots which would be awesome to film but the better guys I know don't want to skate them because they rather chill at the parks, and the worse ones don't think that they could do anything with those spots, so they don't want to go there either.

Nosegrind on the hubba sounds doable, I'll be sure to try it the next time I go there. The nun outfit was my friend's haha he wants everyone to wear it and film shit in order to make a themed montage he wants to name 'skateboarding is my religion', when I saw he had brought it I just went ahead and messed around. It's hard as shit to skate with that on though, because of the dress you can't see your legs or board, so you never really know if you're going to land

I loved the fs wallride. Sick spot choice, quick feet, and a good trick. Oh and here's a suggestion for the second line. Sw fs bigspin, fs shuv, nollie 5050 180 out through the section of the ledge next to the pole(that'd look so cool), and then sw impossible/whatever.

YES thank you for that suggestion, that's definitely the little spark of originality my line was lacking, that I couldn't put my finger on. I've done tricks like that at that spot too, so it shouldn't be too hard to get. I'll see what I can do !

Ahh the nollie back lips were tight. I like them alot better backside, it's all personal preference though. Reminds me of when I was trying to learn half cab front boards. It's the same motion, only fakie. Such a blindside trick. I liked the front board shuv out in the middle of the ledge. The shove was a nice little extra. Normally I just see people do the front board and then pop out on ledges.

I like the nice little whip on that frontside bigspin. Oh and that ollie to frontside wallride was nice. Hard to tell but it looked like there was a bit of a bank there too. I'm weird, I like the sound of the ground at that ledge spot.

Ahahahahha, oh my god. I saw the nun outfit and it didn't click right away.

I was watching your feet and I saw the skirt bottom, instantly I thought "What the fuck... is he wearing a dress or some shit?" I just kept watching the board and your feet until the very end I saw your hat and shit.

Then I remembered Halloween wasn't too long ago.
