First video I ever post on here, this is a video part I threw together pretty quickly for some forum-based video project - nothing serious. Pretty much 75% of it is throwaway I added in as filler because it had to be long enough yet I wanted to save my best clips for another video part, so don't be too harsh on it, even though constructive criticism is obviously more than welcome, keep in mind that there's only a few clips that I actually like (the lines at the beginning mostly), the rest is just part of my daily skating I got on film for fun, and used in this so-called part in order to make it longer. Hope you enjoy. |

Turn of steadyshot when you use the fisheye.
Most of the filming was very shakey. You should do more stairs and grinds. Other then that it was really good. I love seeing tech skating. |

Thanks for the feedback.
About the filming, it's a shame that I only have like one or two friends who can film decently, and they don't skate too often either so I rarely see them, and I often have to ask people who aren't good at it when I need to get footage. I often try to give them advice but they either won't listen, or mess up anyway. Ah well. About grinds, I can do them but mine often look like crap, I thought they wouldn't be presentable enough to go into this montage. But you're right, I could have thrown a few more in. And stairs I can do as well, but I don't get to skate nice sets too often, and I don't like throwing myself down big stuff (every once in a while is fine, but I wouldn't do it all the time, I have weak ankles). I had some tricks down stairs and on hubbas in a previous video part if you're interested, but overall it was pretty sketchy, not sure if it's anything worth taking a peek at. Again, thanks for your input. |

I'm not so good at grinds either. It would be sick to see some of those tricks down stairs or gaps, even if they were only small drops. |

i liked it, the filming on the last line hurt my eyes because it was so shaky though
i like how you do some of the more unconventional fliptricks, you don't see stuff like that often. |

http://youtube.com/watch?v=JCxCV-W8xSo As you can see my style used to be much worse and more sketchy, but at least there are gaps and stairs. Thinking about it I should probably go back and redo all that stuff with better filming, more style and clean landings now. Yeah I hated how it was filmed as well, as you can see the lights went off right after I landed the last trick and I didn't get a chance to redo it, I had to do with that version of the line. Thanks for the feedback, glad you liked. |

just turn the steadyshot off on your friends camera when he isnt paying attention. thatll definitely help.
anywho, you do alot sicker stuff than i had thought. your manny tricks are sickkkk, and i loved the fs wallride near the end. nollie 180 on the steep bank and the little wallie up that white thing were sick as well. your bank tricks and hip tricks are impressive, i cant name them. usually im not a fan of tricks like that since they usually only get done flatground, but this impressed me. good stuff. other than the filming, the only things i didnt like were the no comply pole jam, the feeble on the little qp, and the smith on the steep bank. i understand the smith was probably super hard, and that the feeble was on something steep, but neither trick really looked like much. smith woulda been way better if it was locked in, and feebles.... well im not a fan, lets just say. so other than those three clips and the filming, it was quite good. i was very impressed. especially at the fs wallride. |

Woah dude I had no idea you had made an account here, rad. Anyways, I definitely liked this part, it's nice to see some lines with somebody filming, and the combination of tech and street.

dude your skating looks sick. But I think the filming would have made the video part better if it was done better.

The only thing I didn't like was the filming, the skating was incredible. How do you make the board flip like that? I have enough trouble with normal flip tricks ha.

Thank you all for your input.
About the steadyshot, I will make sure that my friend turns it off next time, it's true that it takes a lot away from the viewing pleasure. toomanykickflips : glad you liked. In fact the no-comply pole jam and the feebles were just complete filler, towards the end of the editing process I felt like throwing in a few cheaper tricks just to make my part longer (since it was for an amateurish video project, I allowed myself some leniency, and saved my better clips for another, more serious video part), looking back at it it wasn't that much of a smart move, now I seriously wonder why I even put the feebles in. But on the other hand you liked some tricks I thought everyone was going to diss, so it's all good. Thanks for your input. And to everyone who asked about the flip tricks, I just used to practice flatground a lot. And now that I have kind of played it out, I'm working on taking my hardest tricks to a further level (doing them on actual spots, and putting style into them). As far as style is concerned I'm not quite there yet, but I think I've been improving, and plan on continuing doing so. |

Well, I don't think anybody here can do the tricks you do. Although, I'm not sure anybody would want to do these tricks!
That isn't to say that its bad, I like your footy. How long have you been skating? |

Hahaha, to be honest I can't even remember when I took up skating really, I've always had a skateboard at home ever since I was a kid, so I don't know. I remember I had just turned 13 when I landed my first ollies though, now I'm 20, so I'd say about 7 / 8 years of actual commitment. Cheers for the comment !
