basically you sand the edge of the ledge down a lot, then spray it instand drying clear lacquer, let it dry for 90 sec, then wax, and there you have it, a ledge slick as melted butter.

buy a cement rub block around 15 dollers.
buy instant dry clear laquer. maybe 5 bucks or so.

Rub the hell out of the ledge on the top and most likely the sides. with the cement rub block.

clean it with a duster or any other thing.

then on the tops and sides spray instant dry laquer.

Wait for the stuff to dry...well its instant so wait..like 1 second.

then WAXXXXXXXXXXXXXX TOOO DA MAXXXXX.

and shred it up dog.

Tell some friends.

This ensures your ledge too slide no matter what.

Its a perfect win situation.

It makes your ledge butters in about 10 minutes.

even if its made out of that really crappy cement.

if the ledge is already fine with normal wax, then yeah it is.

but around here we also have crappy ledges, ledges that dont work with just wax, so that'd be a sittuation where the sand-spray-wax thing would work to your advantage.

haha i posted this like 2 years ago. and yes it does work. my friends and i have tried this on a ledge that needs like WAAAAAY too much wax for it to not blow, and it still isnt that good, but the ledge would have been amazing if it was smoother. so we did this, and now it rules.
