Miniramp plans

So, we all should be well aware that, no matter how long you've been skating, mini-ramps are fun as hell. They support pretty much any style of skating, from street-style flips to vert style airs, it can be done a nice mini. One problem, though. What if their aren't any public minis? Who really wants to pay $15 a day to skate an indoor park? No one. That is why I am providing you with a nice plan for a mini that will keep you entertained day after day.
The ramp you are making should be approximately 4 feet high by 8 feet wide. A perfect size.

Question Miniramp on uneven ground

I am also building a miniramp in my yard but before I start I don't know what to do with the eneven yard. There is no concrete at my place, only a gravel driveway and a grassy lumpy yard. What do i do to make it level without spending $500 on concrete that will crack in a year?

$300 to $400 is what it might cost. Mine was only $150 because my dad got a bunch of wood from his work, so see if you can get some from other people to lower the cost.

Post ..

My freind got one free, we just needed to do a little work on it, replace 2 plywood sheets, smoothern the coping, and a couple of other simple things that didn't cost much.
Even though i suck on mini-ramp, i can skate it abit, it's much better than paying £10 ($20 or so) to go to a skatepark and not use it because i suck..

just dig around the area you want it to go and make that level before proceeding any other parts of mini ramp.

Default i need mini ramp help

ok well my bearings suck and my wheels are averaged size but theres a skatepark nearby that has a mini ramp but its hard to skate its about 4'9 or 5 feet its not that long and its really hard to get up to the coping you have to push your weight reallllly hard, i want to build a mini ramp with my grandfather but im kind of paranoid if its going to be hard to get up to the coping if its going to be short lengthwise how big to build it how to put in the coping how steep it is and etc. please help me out

are you sure 4 tall and 8 feet wide is a perfect height? i want to get enough speed to get up to the coping but then again 4 feet is pretty short do you have a picture of your mini ramp?

ok but yet again im very paranoid that i wont get enough speed to get up to the coping what should i use for the skin layer since the skin layer is 2nd way of getting lots of speed i need somthing inexpensive and possibly water proof? and when you say 8 feet long do you meen the middle of the mini ramp that you build (ex. 2 qps and the middle piece 8 feet long) or do you meen 8 feet from the end of 1 qp to another also lol how steep should it be
