Good review. When I decide to get a new setup I think I might pick up some of those graphite ones.

Thanks guys. Yes I spent a near 8 to 10 hr's putting it together. Maybe a little more, I'm part perfectionist.

Really really really beautiful truck. But I think Independent is still the strongest, and this is what matters FOR ME.
Awesome review, tho :D

Yes it is, isn't it. Thats cool Lucas, I know alot of people on here are hardcore Independent and for very good reason. I've been told by a few people who have fully skated the EVO2's that if they were to switch to any truck it be this one and some say they would if they weren't so devoted to the Indy's.
But thank you for taking the time to read it and the compliment.

Well if you want to stop your bushings from exploding loosen your trucks or get harder bushings. In the photo with the used trucks you have your trucks way tightened, so you need harder bushings or to loosen your trucks.

Really Try indies or ventures. I skate almost every day (except 2 months of heavy winter here) and they last me a little bit more than 1 year (the high ones). The only defect is a broken baseplate in around 9 months but if you buy the same trucks this is not an issue.

Pzil,
Thanks for the little advice but the catch is I don't skate tight trucks. Mine are medium loose. The kingpin in the used photo looks tight cause the bushing has compacted over time so I had to tighten my nut so it wouldn't become increasing loose.(its not the nut squashing the bushing that much) My trucks make really good for carving and making "S" carves on flat ground and around the bowls. I have skated Indy bushing before, they didn't do well. I use to buy Doh-ho's I still killed those in about 1-2 months.

Truth is these furys were designed to hold the Bones Bushing and therefore can take full advantage of it. I suggest you try a pair, they are quite the amazing truck. I'm sure you will be impressed.

Well I hope you enjoy skateboarding for a very long time.
Just see it for what it is, not what you cannot make it.
