district 9 - rewatched it, and i think it's really good except for the loopholes and the repetitive curse words.. i give it a 9/10
also really good sfx for a fairly low budget movie. |

I watched a slue of horror movies over Halloween
Drag Me To Hell 7/10 (Sam Raimi doing what he does best. You can't take this one seriously) The Thing 9/10 (John Carpenter monsters and special effects always look so good. Sweet plot too) The Funhouse 3/10 (Pretty stupid) Kenan and Kel: 2 Heads are better than None 7/10 (A hilarious made for TV movie that was toward the end of this shows lifespan) |

Dawn of the Dead (remake): 10/10
Surprisingly a remake of a Romero film that didn't fall flat on its ass. |

Bug - 5/10
I was dissapointed. I liked the character build-up and the claustrophobic setting, but other than that it didn't really keep me interested. The ending was pretty bad and the movie just couldn't keep me interested. I'm watching either Hostel or The Shinning tonight, most likely Hostel, so I will rate one these tomorrow. |

I'm going to finish the last half of "Anti-Christ" tonight. The opening montage is amazing.
It's really unsettling at times, but good. I'll give a rating when I finish it. |

The last movie I watched was Charlies Angels: Full Throttle (Yes, I am in fact totally lame.)
I'd give it 7 hot, crazy bitches out of 10 hot crazy bitches. They should use guns, and there's definitely not enough nudity (a la previously aforementioned bitches.) But it's a pretty decent movie actually. |

"If..." 7.25/10
It was an amazing movie; great acting, great script, and great cinematography, but it was a bit too slow. But it does have one of the greatest, heart-pumping endings in any movie I've seen. I was falling asleep and it woke me up. It's a different movie, especially for it's time, and a controversial one that is well worth the watch. My score might rise on a rewatch. |

I'm bored, long review ahead.
This is probably controversial, as I'm sure a bunch of people here loved this Watchmen Ultimate edition - 4/10 however, it probably would have been around an 8/10 if I'd never read the comic As I watched it, I really tried to view it on its own and not compare it to the comic. However, it followed the comic so closely and so many of shots were straight from the comic panels that it didn't give me the chance to separate them. So throughout the movie I just kept noticing little ways in which the movie failed to capture the overall themes of the movie The Violence - The actual violence (bones shattering, arms cut off, etc) was actually some of the best I've seen in a movie, unfortunately it just didn't work for me in this movie. It just accents part of why this missed having the impact of the comic. Outside of Manhattan, none of them have superpowers. They aren't supposed to be able to do things like that. That was one of the big points of the comic. In this, there is so much action that just doesn't fit in. It's like it follows the plot closely, closely, crazy out of place action scene that doesn't fit, follows plot closely again For example, in the comic Rorschach jumps out of the building, hurts his legs, and can't get up. As a result, the cops grab him and de-mask him. In the movie, he lands, is fine and proceeds to start a karate fight with 6 or so cops also, all the ambiguity of the last part at the New Frontiersman office was taken away also also, this would have been a 5/10, but having my chemical romance cover Bob Dylan? Holy balls thats a bad idea I do have to say though that it was cool that the ultimate edition included a ton of stuff I'd heard people complaining about being left out It wasn't terrible, but I really don't think I'd ever get the urge to see it again |

Watched this at a friend's house, kind of dragged on to a predictable anticlimactic ending |

Black Sheep 6/10
I still cant decide if this more was more funny or stupid, its such a weird idea, geneticly altered killer sheep... Im just glad I saw it for free on tv and didnt pay to rent it but still made me laugh a lot so I guess it wasnt that bad and I have seen worst. |
