![]() ![]() ![]() so myself and 3 friends went to the spot with the brickwall after school to take some photos. Myself and a friend named Trevor got out of his truck with our cameras, and two other friends got out of their car to just look around for a bit. we were only taking pictures for like 2 minutes when this old guy walks across the street to the parking lot we were in. he started yelling a bunch of crap at Trevor, saying we were on private property and we couldn't do stuff like that and we couldn't violate people's rights and whatnot, and cornered him so he couldn't get in his truck or anything. he demanded Trevor's camera (D40), but Trevor wouldn't give it to him. so he asked for the memory card. and Trevor asked if he could just delete the pictures, but he wouldn't let that go. so Trevor gave up the memory card (only like 500mb luckily). I had been standing on the other side of the truck, trying to hide my camera this whole time, and luckily didn't get caught. the guy continued yelling at us, and eventually walked away. we noticed he was going to write down our license plates, so we sped out in the two cars in two different directions. we met up with some more friends at Walmart, and eventually went to my house. we called the police and found out that the guy took Trevor's memory card to them, but the police officer explained to him that what we were doing was not illegal. so we went to pick up the memory card from the station. and it ended out alright. but it was still pretty scary. we seriously thought this guy had some kind of weapon on him or was going to destroy our cameras. |

Whatta jerk.
Your friend shouldn't have given up his memory card. The guy had no right to take it so there was no reason to give it. |
