Scoff gets good word from DC: Great news after testing our skatelaces and “putting them through a barrage of tests” DC shoes has said they would like to do business with Scoff in the matter of our laces. Only thing that we relayed to us is that one of them weren’t too keen on the laces being less flexible. Where looking good there and are talking to 2 other large brands as well. We are just in a waiting period right night to see if our manufacture gets the go ahead from their brands they produce for. Then we’ll be very close.


About to begin testing on the PRO skatelaces: Testing of the new PRO skatelaces is about to begin. I believe 2 of SB-C’s own skaters will be testing a pair of the new skatelaces, were excited to start getting some real feedback and abuse testing from these.

Working on new formula (DDS): Scoff is also currently working on a new formula called the Dirt Denial System (DDS) Which purpose is to completely stop the amount of dirt, dust, lint, and ect… that might want to stick to your skatelaces and make them change shades of color. This is something we’ve been striving to accomplish for a long time and right now is currently being tested on Nurse shoelace for a large hospital in California. 1st tests proved to be extremely promising and the laces texture changes as well to being smooth instead of the normal grip/ rubbery feel their know for. But the white laces we performed the new formula on turned an off white/ cream color immediately after it was applied. If we can’t get around this we may only use this on darker color laces or ones without white.

New LIMITED “Tiffany” Colorway Announcement: Being that I am a huge supporter of DVS, I will be planning to come out with Winters new LIMITED Skatelace Line-up including the Tiffany colorway to match DVS’s upcoming DiamondxDVS Tiffinay collaboration shoe to be released then end/beginning of next year. The Scoff Tiffany Skatelace will come in a 45 inch length(on the shorter side) in a wide 8mm wide lace the color is near exact and maybe a bit greener than the actual tiffinay(were going to try to get it as close as possible.) Also look forward to this being one of the first laces to include out to have the DDS. I am really excited to bring this colorway to everyone and will be coming in the new LIMITED skatelace packaging.
Other news in the LIMITED line-up the Smurf skatelace will be coming back soon. So keep your eyes out for those guys.

Naw the SMurfs were suppose to come out same as the Fog but we had a really bad batch and all were not up to specs. So we are finally going to get more in and release them cause they never were.

haha I had to google "chuffed" never heard of it before. "Very pleased and excited" Thanks Viv! No distribution work has been done lately. We will hopefully end up setting some shipping to the Europe soon though. Hopefully before the end of the year.

i was actually thinking of writing you to ask what was going on with scoff, because i think that you are doing the work of skateboard gods. i was thinking about you the otehr day and realized that you have the ability to make some money in the industry but at the same time have the ability to be ripped off by some big corporation douchers who think that by making sub par laces and trying to copy your idea they will make money. I hope that never happens.
also, i hope you never ever sell out, ie start mass producing laces and have your quality go down the shitter.
i have lace protectors right now on my shoes which i keep replacing with shoe goo, but i can tell you as son as i need it i wil be putting a big order through.

Yeah, thats a great idea, a length guide would be great. Whatever size the last pair you sent me was fits campus vulcs perfectly. I'm gunna have to order another pair for my campus vulc mids.

Thanks for thinking about me bro. I hope that never happens ethier. We've taken some pretty big steps to protect the laces and the process. Well I do hope we go to mass produce so everyone can get there hands on them and receive the benefits. I would make sure quality would not go down though. Eventually we might sell the company but it would only be to someone who we believe that could do just as good as job as myself and team on them.

I think the skatelaces do a great job of rejecting dirt, alot better than normal laces. I don't think you can get laces not to change color at all though, cause griptape is black. Tiffany laces are sick.

Thanks bro. Its the obvious color change were trying to prevent mostly and any extra attraction to dirt the laces may receive is what were trying to cut down on.
