Granted I've never played PS3 online, but I can vouch for XBox having plenty of online issues. I played Worlds At War and Modern Warfare and I get bullets that don't seem to do any damage, knifings that never connect and other difficulties.

If PSN had a party system like Xbox then I would be 100% content with online. My favorite thing about the Ps3 is the fact that it comes with what you have to buy extra for Xbox. Aka built in wireless adapter, charge and play, and PSN. That alone is almost $200 saved.

i think the majority of people can agree with me when i say, ps3 has more quality in terms of the consel, but in terms of games and how many people play them, 360 wins. if their was an equal amount of people with ps3's compared to people with 360's, ps3 would take over he world, they just did so bad in the beggining, that it ruined the ps3's potential.

Yep, all you gotta buy is a headset. But I prefer it that way because then you can choose the type you want.

Cross-game chat is rumored for next Firmware...i'd guess we'd get that by the end of the year.

The only exclusive that the 360 has over the Ps3 is Gears of War, everything else is mediocre or lesser.

The PSN has enough people online...you don't need tons.

You can always go wired and get the PS2 SOCOM USB headset for like $20 (if even that). It works just as well as a bluetooth one.

But your speaking of Gears, HA who needs it we have THIS coming to it and only on the PS3. Granted it looks a lot like Gears but I have high thoughts about it and hope the Sony rep lets me have a early demo or a beta of some sort, it may have online.

In terms of games 360 people only care about online thats it. They don't have a game with a story as deep as the Uncharted series.

Sure they did shot themself in the foot with the $600 and $500 price tag at launch but they did it cause once the PS4 comes out they can make it cheap as hell. Sony has already stated that they don't plan to change alot if any of the hardware in the system, it already has a low as hell fail rate, nothing is better then bluray, and no game has really pushed the software in the console to its peak (though Naughty Dog has reported they were able to use 80% of the PS3's power for Uncharted 2).

Microsoft won't have that edge when they release their new system, their going to go with brand new everything. I don't know what their going to use other then some sort of higher storage dvd since Sony and another company created Bluray and Im sure Sony isn't going to let them go blue on the next Xbox.

No this is the 2nd big price cut

Launch- PS3 $600 and $500 (For the 40 and 60 models)
1st Price Cut- $400 and $500 (I think, and that was for the 80 model, and maybe another one)
2nd- PS3 120 GB Slim- $299 and I think they still have a fat model still being made, not sure on the hard drive space.

Well thats how much Elites were before Sony cut it down to $299. But Sony should cut the USBs to 2, take out BC and release a $199 console, that would jump the sales. But also make people bitch about cutting features out.

The PS3 is just now finally to the point where I think it's affordable/reasonable for somebody like myself. I'd probably get one, but I really don't see why I would (it has some alright exclusives, but not a ton to justify buying a ps3)..

They already did that. That's partially how they got it to be $300.

Not really...considering even my friend with fiber optics gets shitty connections on his PS3 and gets kicked off PSN network. Which I don't even care to debate, but still.

20 dollars for 3 months is nothing compared to what I pay for gas and drugs within a month. So it really doesn't bother me.

I still don't care about the retarded control. I just simply like the 360's better...I like the joy sticks a hell of a lot better. I can't even imagine playing Skate on PS3. The joysticks are stiff as fuck and just spring back as soon as you let go of them.

Either way it doesn't really matter...you're probably some gay PS3 fan boy. I rarely play video games anymore anyway, only lately have I been playing because of Borderlands.

I found the PS3 analog sticks to be better for skate. They are more sensitive IMO.

I prefer the indented 360 sticks. Seems like it would be weird as hell trying to get an accurate flick on a convex stick.

Yeah when I bought a 360 the Ps3 was ridiculously priced. Now I might've considered a Ps3 but would still go with the 360 mostly cause I cant stand the controller.

It's not as hard as it seems it would be, surprisingly. I played Skate on PS3 for a while a little bit back, and got used to the controller in no time. Sorta thought it would have been harder

Probably a router issue, I have this old linksys so it will randomly sign me out sometimes, due to gaps in the connection.

Yea, they are a little more stiff, but that helps for games like skate when you need to make a flicking motion...When I had skate2 on the 360 I had issues all the time play S-K-A-T-E because I didn't nail the tricks because of flicking motion issues.
It's like anything else...you get used to it. At first, the 360 controller was a little awkward to people coming from the Ps2/Xbox but it didn't take long for them to be like ZOHMAHGAW ITZ TEH B3ST EVAR.

I'm not a Ps3 fanboy, I too barely play video games (I only own 1 Ps3 game currently). I bought a 360 months before my Ps3 - it's a great console but after I got my Ps3 I realized how much higher quantity and quality exclusive games were, and that I could do a lot more with my Ps3 as a console. So I eventually sold my 360. The only thing I prefer on the 360 is playing first person shooters (because of the thumbstick placement), but for everything else the Ps3 controller is way better (especially racing games). And the only game I miss/the only quality exclusive was Gears of War 2.

I never had any major issues with my 360, but I did have some freezing and the E68 + E70 errors everyonce in a while (started after the 1st week of owning it). My Ps3 freezes occasionally but it's usually my fault (for some reason if you try to navigate immediatly after coming out of the web browser it freezes, and rarely recovers itself). Other than that, everything else has been superior to that of the 360.

Now that's a respectable opinion. Though I disagree with you if you are trying to say that web browser crash is your fault, that shouldn't be in there in the first place.

The browser is slow but reports say its a lot better then IE which isn't saying much. But I never had the browser crash on me. But the browser is a great thing, you can visit any website you want on it and 360 owners are saying how great facebook, twitter, and Last.fm being brought to the 360 while we have it right now.

I just wonder if they plan to bring internet radio on the PS3 since its been on the PSP forever.

Yea they should fix the glitch or whatever it is, but it's completely avoidable if you just wait like 3 to 5 seconds after exiting the browser before sliding over to turn it off the console or going to yoru friends list, etc.
