What are you talking about? This decade has had the greatest technological innovations in human history, and the mass unification of modern culture through the internet, etc. has had a greater impact than any other time during the 20th century (IMO, the 90s don't count, because the technology wasn't as fully developed or widespread as is today). Hell, I've talked with people in their 50s/60s who would back me on that.

With that said, I was basically terrified of how the second half of this decade would unfold, and it wasn't as bad as I thought it would be. Some of the fashion has been funny as hell, too, these girls walking around in purple skinny jeans and raccoon-striped hair is hilarious (although I don't mind, I have a friend like that).

Yeah they had a hell of an influence, I didn't deny that. I wasn't saying nothing happened in this decade. The dude said this decade was just like the 60s and the 80s and I had no idea what he meant. Not that our decade was any less influential or exciting but just different. Something huge pretty much happens in every decade. Doesn't mean they're all similar cause of it.

I don't think you could really point anyone being the reason music sucks... actually I don't even think you could make a legit argument that our decades music DOES suck. Really it's a pretty stupid thing to say... but it is sort of expected from sb-c (cause it seems like half you guys just go anti mainstream... with everything. for no real reason. just for the sake of making sure you're not like everyone else)

I don't like when scene people think they're "unique" when they're just like every other emo/scene kid out there.

I was born in 1987 so I sort of grew up both in the 90's and the 00's, and I can't help but think that the 00's were shit compared to the 90's. Maybe it's directly related to how I personally lived through those periods of time though, but now I just don't find myself able to relate much to how kids grow up today, even when it comes to their entertainment all they get (around here at least) are video games that might be technologically-speaking more advanced than the games from 15 / 20 years ago but lack soul and playability, same thing could be said for the cartoons and everything (how long has it been since the last Disney movie that wasn't some 3D shit, or a dumb commercial sequel to an old one that was actually good ?). Maybe that's how getting older feels, you miss what you grew up with and end up disagreeing with the standards of the current generation, I don't know it's pretty fucked up.

There's so many music genres in this decade, that not even Ynot could name all of them off the top his head. There's also the internet. The only bad things about this decade are probably scene kids, juggalos, and the godawful music in the mainstream.
