Devil May Cry 3: God damn this game was hard, But overall it was very fun once you unlock easy and getting the hang of the game. You start out as Dante a half-demon ,half-human in his shop waiting for some buisness when a weird old man comes in and tells you your brother sends his messages. When all of a sudden a bunch of demons come out and the asskicking begins. This game was very badass you can choose from four different fighting styles Trickster, Swordmaster, Gunslinger, and finally the very gay Royalguard. YOu have to kick ass all the way to your brother through hordes of demons and dead stuff with your bigass sword and two guns I would say this is definetly worth buying. The special edition lets you play as Vergil, Dantes brother which is worth the buy itself. I give this a 9/10

Kingdom Hearts- Great game. The game is about a boy named sora who goes through disney worlds trying to find keyholes(which he seals with his keyblade or weapon), and looking for his friends. It is mostly a hack/slash type game but with tons of strategy. The game is 1 player, and is a Ps2 type of game. The rating is E for everyone.

Overall a great game. I know sounds real stupid(I thought the same) but when you start playing it you cant put it down. the sequel Kindom hearts 2 is coming out in March 1st 2005.
    already came out

    The Godfather-The Game
    Game Rating: M
    Number of Players: 1

Story: The story follows the movie, with each mission you beat you can unlock a movie clip taken RIGHT from the moive with crip, clear, image of it. A good thing about the game is it has Marlon Brando (R.I.P) doing the voice over for Don Vito Corlenone! The game starts off as you in an alley and you have to beat some thugs then you get shot (or whacked!) then the game thats a real nice twist and lets you create the guy you'll play as in the game.
It has a lot of guns, and ways to kill your rivals up-close like my favorite on "Face Off", nice brutal and never gets tired!

Yes it has the clip of the horse head in the movie, but you have to beat that mission first (took me 5 tries before I figured it out).

Like they do on X-Play The Godfather-The Game gets a 5 out of 5.

Star Wars Knights of the Old Republic- This is a real good game. I said good because it is not quite great. First off the game has WAY too much dialogue. I mean the game has like 30 hours of gameplay and 10 of them are spent talking to random people. The gameplay is pretty fun, but it sorta sucks that you cant just bind force and weapons to the dpad. it is sort of annoying that you have to take a few seconds to select force kill and be killed by the time you select it.
But the upside to this is its FUN. you spend alot of your spare time playin this once youget into this. it did win the 2003 game of the year award for a reason.
overall i give this game 8/10

alright, first off, this is the firtst game thats ever really made me crap my pants. this is the ONLY descient horror game ive ever played. i liked every part of the game, eccept that im not good at it. every time i get on to play it, i need to enter the invincibility cheat, or i die pretty quick. the graphics are awesome, some of the best i've seen for original xbox, and i have encountered very little gliches, and the game has never frozen on me, just gets laggy very few times.
being that i dont have xbox live, i cant really tell you anything about multiplayer.
overall, i think it deserves really 5/5

    Metal Gear Solid 3: Subsistence

    ~~Intro~~
Note: This is NOT any type of sequel to Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater, but rather a revamped version with plenty of extras! Snake Eater, as you should all know, is the prequel to the Metal Gear series. Taking place in 1964, you control Naked Snake, or otherwise known as Big Boss. Subsistence not only contains Snake Eater with a new 3D camera system, but also has all new online gameplay (Metal Gear Online or MGO), the original two Metal Gear games released for the MSX2 Computer system, a Secret Theater Mode, Duel Mode, Demo Theater, and new stages for the Snake vs. Monkey mini-game.

    ~~Gameplay (10/10)~~
Brilliant, simply brilliant! Beside having one of the greatest PS2 games to play, you also have two great MSX games at your disposal, both in their own right classics, and don't forget about the online mayhem! Metal Gear and Metal Gear 2: Solid Snake are remakes of the originals, but the classic gameplay is intact and still enjoyable even today. I also forgot to mention that Metal Gear 2: Solid Snake has never been released before in America, so you can finally play that game and fill in that gap in the story! Metal Gear Online has a variety of different modes, including Deathmatch, Team Deathmatch, Sneaking Missions, Capture Missions, and Rescue Missions. MGO does have it's glitches, but what online game doesn't? And of course you'll see those cheaters, but again no one can help that. Even if you don't play the Snake Eater part, you can spend hours just watching all the cinematics in Demo Theater or the hilarious ones in the Secret Theater. Overall, this is a definite 10.

    ~~Graphics (9/10)~~
Graphics-wise, I didn't see much of an improvement, if any, from Snake Eater but then again, Snake Eater's graphics are very impressive even today. There wasn't any graphical improvements done to MG or MG2SS, but I would much rather have the original for nostalgic reasons. It seems the graphics on MGO are not as nearly as great as Snake Eater, but for an online game, it's still quite impressive.

    ~~Controls (9/10)~~
The controls are outstanding in whatever mode or game you're playing in Subsistence. You might have to get used to the new user controlled 3D camera in Snake Eater if you're not used to it. MG and MG2SS fit the controls perfectly to the PS2 controller. Like in Snake Eater, you can access your weapons and accessories using the back buttons unlike in the original MSX2 games. Online, the controls aren't as smooth and responsive as in Snake Eater. You'll get used to it eventually and it isn't much of a drawback, but it was enough for me to notice it.

    ~~Sound (9/10)~~
Spectacular, the soundtrack is awesome! The tracks are great and the music is memorable. The only negative remark I have on the sound is that the lip-synching is off most of the time, which can get annoying, but if I was basing this score on the music and soundtrack alone, it would get a 10. Two thumbs up for Harry Gregson-Williams on his music.

    ~~Overall (10/10)~~
Wow, for the price of this game it's sure worth it. Only $30 for the regular version, and if you manage to get your hands on it, $40 for the Limited Edition, which includes a third disc, containing a three hour movie of Snake Eater. Either way, it's worth the price plus more. This is a definite must-buy for anybody and every Metal Gear fan shouldn't miss this one. Of course, like in most Metal Gear games, it leaves you with more questions than answers, but Hideo Kojima promises that all of these questions will be answered in the sequel, Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots for the Playstation 3.

    Rainbow Six : Vegas (RSV)

    Made by: Ubisoft
    Genre: Shooter (FPS)
    ESRB Rating: M
    # of Players: 1-16
Platforms: PlayStation 3, PlayStation Portable, PC, Xbox 360
Features: 16:9 Support, 480p Support, 720p Support, Dolby Digital 5.1, Xbox Live, Memory Unit, Custom Soundtrack, Downloadable Content

This game is about an elite counter-terrorism unit going around Sin city (vegas) killing and stopping terrorist forces from doing ..terrorist things, heck I dont know. You'll defuse bombs, save hostages, escape from sewers, and defend stuffs. A first to the series is a cover system which allows you to keep the action flowing instead of finding health packs and such, you'll "recover" your life status by staying away from danger, your screen will blur up a little when you take damage, that means you should find some cover to "recover". The weapons in the game are made to have the exact statistics of the real gun itself, which is purty damn cool. For example, if you can't put a rifle scope on a deagle, you can't put a rifle scope on a deagle.

Gameplay- The game will last you for a couple days. It's not one of those easy youwillbeatonetimethroughgames either.

Graphics- The graphics are amazing for offline campaign mode, the graphics are dumbed down a little for live play.

Multiplayer- Not as actiony as Gears of War, but the amount of weapons in the game can add new challenges. RSV includes PEC or Personal Elite Creation, which lets you make your own one of a kind character for live play and if you have a live vision camera, you can slap your own face on your ..PEC and get 30 points to your gamerscore as an achievment.

Sound- Repetitive music will annoy you, yet the sound quality is nice.

Controls- The control layout isnt too hard to pick up, you'll figure it out in about 5 minutes tops.

Overall- My first and only game for 360, but it's a great game, get it if you like them realistic shooters.
    (rented other games mentioned)

Bully: Rockstars lasting game. Really cool story line, you can skate in it, throw firecrackers; stink bombs; slingshots, etc. You can ride bikes and drive mopeds. You can attend bike races, go-kart races. Play carnival games. Overall, it's a very great game. Top 3 for me.

Jak and Daxter: The Precursor Legacy

This is by far my favorite game of all time. It's a 3D Platformer, and basically you play as Jak and you're trying to collect Power Cells. You talk to different people who give you tasks to do at first to gain Power Cells (such as trading orbs) but as you move on to later levels, Power Cells become much harder to obtain. The storyline is excellent. The gameplay itself is awesome. The difficulty level is easy at first but the later levels can get really tricky. The later games, Jak II and III, are also really good, however this game still tops them both.

Half-Life 2: This game was called the game of the year getting over 50 awards from critics all over america.

Gameplay: It's AMAZING. The graphics, story line, acting, and plot was cool. You could also do alot in the game. Alot of things you can interact with.

Weapons: They have your standard cross bow, pistol, sub machine gun, but they also have a unique array of weapons suchs as the GRAVITY GUN! The gravity gun is a weapon where you can pick up any object and you can throw it at a very high velocity. You can then upgrade it to pick up people.

Plot and acting: The plot was amazing. It's about a sciencist from Black Mesa sent undercover to a city called CITY 17. I don't want to spoil anything else, and the acting in this game was amazing! It seemed like a movie.

Overall: I recommend this game to anyone that likes exiciting, fun, violent 1st person shooters with amazing story line. 9/10

    Super Mario Sunshine
    1 player
    rated E for everyone
    Nintendo Gamecube

Story: the story of the game is that Mario and Peach have gone to the island of Delfino for a relaxing vacation. when they arrive; however, they find that the island is covered in a strange goo and that the culprit looks just like Mario. now Mario is being blamed for the mess and has to clean it all up and catch the real perpetrator, as well as return the shine sprites(Delfino's source of power) to the land and return it back to normal

Gameplay: this game is similar to Super Mario 64, except that a majority of the time, Mario wears a special water-powered device called FLUDD to clean up the island with. this device is crucial to the game because many of the enimies you face are vulnerable to water. the only time that Mario doesn't wear FLUDD is during the secret levels, which are very much like levels in SM64. Yoshis are in this game too, with Yoshi eggs being availible at a certain point in the game.

Sound: the compositions in the game are brilliant. i felt that they were very catchy and well arranged, using a variety of instruments in the process.

Overall: this is a very enjoyable and challenging game. if you're a fan of Super Mario 64, you'll love this game.

Half-Life 2's gameplay is nothing special, and in many ways worse than the original. I hate the second game's 9/10 unmemorable/repetitive level design and its complete ruining of Half-Life's once-great plot concept. As far as I'm concerned, the first game is a classic that Valve will never surpass.

Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time review

    Cover

    Genre: Third person/Action adventure
    Players: One player
Release Date: US: November 10, 2003
System(s): GBA, Xbox, PC, PS2, Gamecube
    Rating: T

    Story:
The game is set in 9th century Persia. The Prince enslaved Princess Farah's kingdom. It is said that whatever the Sands Of Time touches (people, animals) will be turned into sand creatures. An evil vizier gives the prince a dagger. He tricks him into inserting the dagger into the sand. Then everyone was turned into sand creatures, including the prince's father. Farah, the prince, and the vizier were the only people unharmed by the sands. Farah tells the prince that she needs the dagger to turn everything back to normal. He doesn't trust her, but later she is needed for help. He soon realizes that the dagger can control time itself! You can stop, rewind, and slow down time! Even if you die, you can rewind to try again!

    Characters:

    Prince:

    Weapon(s): Dagger, sword
Info: He is the prince of Persia. He found the dagger before inleashing the Sands of Time. With the dagger, he has the power to control time. It was because of his stupidity that everyone was turned into monsters. Now he has to retrieve the sands of time from the sand creatures, to stop this madness. He has visions of what will happen in the future, which might help for hard levels.

    Farah:

    Weapon(s): Bow and arrow
Info: Princess Farah was imprisoned by the prince. She later tells the prince that he can't retrieve the sands alone. Farah helps the prince during the game. She even gets some sort of a crush on the prince later in the game.

    Vizier:

    Weapon(s): Staff
Info: He is the evil man that tricked the prince into unleashing the sands of time. He wanted the dagger in the first place, so he thought he could get it after the prince unleashed the sands. The prince refused and kept it to himself. The vizier now wants to stop the prince from bringing things back to normal.

Graphics: From the lighting, to the landscapes, it was a breathtaking sight whenever playing this game. Even if you play it now, 4 years later.
    Graphics: 9/10

Controls: Everything is so easy to understand. But the camera needed work. You couldn't turn in tight spots when fighting enemies. Other than that, everything was great. The fighting system was fantastic. I always loved fighting enemies becuase you could be so creative. There are so many combos that fighting monters would never get old.
    Controls: 8/10

Gameplay: Very fun and challenging. The fighting was great. You can jump up walls and swing off poles. It all makes you feel like a gymnast. Stopping time makes you feel like god. Challenging puzzles can be pretty tough sometimes though.
    Gameplay: 9/10

Sound: Excellent soundtrack to fit the game. I like how it's like an Indian/Rock kind of thing.
    Sound: 10/10

Overall: This is a great game if you love platformers. If you like games like BioShock, God of War II, you'll love Prince of Persia. So do me a favor and pick up this game. You won't be dissapointed.
    OVERALL: 9/10

Kingdom Hearts- Great game. The game is about a boy named sora who goes through disney worlds trying to find keyholes(which he seals with his keyblade or weapon), and looking for his friends. It is mostly a hack/slash type game but with tons of strategy. The game is 1 player, and is a Ps2 type of game. The rating is E for everyone.

Overall a great game. I know sounds real stupid(I thought the same) but when you start playing it you cant put it down. the sequel Kindom hearts 2 is coming out in March 1st 2005.
i laughed so hard at that

i played kingdom hearts 2 last week and it was really boring; a lot of waiting around and then doing useless, repetative stuff

As far as I'm concerned, the first game is a classic that Valve will never surpass.
Both Half Life 2 plays better than 1. What are you talking about?
