Default pressure cracks-what do they mean?

what do pressure cracks mean? some ppl say that they mean your gunna break your board soon, but im not sure. because, i just got an anti-hero, and the first day skating it, i have a pressure crack thats like 4inchs long from my back truck.

    what does it mean?!?!

I guess it just weakens your board. If it gets big enough, your board will probably snap. My friend has pressure cracks from truck to truck on his board (about 4 of them) and it hasn't snapped yet. But he's pretty small.

It could mean one of many things: Youre fat, youre board sucks , a moped ran over your board, someone used your board without your consent, your mom stepped on your board, somebody cut lines in your deck with a razor, a weight ws dropped on your deck, Humidity caused cracks to form, youre board has teremites, someone put youre board in th frezzer then slammed it on th ground, the list goes on forever but ill stop for the readers sake.

they seem to appear around the first week of getting your board but i don't think that they affect your board at all so just ignore them and keep skating

i got them within the first week of skating and i have had my board for the last 4months, so i dont think that they have any effect on the performance of your board.

it means you're a fat bastard...

but yea, pretty much everybody gets them, they're weaknesses in your board yes, but its not going to snap just because of them.

no way! have u proven that? cause if u had then im gonna get some shorty's hardware.

pressure cracks means your landing on your bolts rather than the middle area of your board...which is good.

    A) Yeah, it is true.
    B) Your definition of pressure cracks in completely wrong.
    C) They don't affect board strength much.

cracks that are caused because you are constantly landing on your bolts...risers help a little bit to stop them...just keep skating it until it snaps

Just use 0.5mm risers (the rubber ones) that are thin not big plastic chunks for cruisers, I use these and never get pressure cracks, but once i take them off, pressure cracks appear in like a week or so.

I never fully countersink my bolts, I always leave the heads a bit above and I use risers...I don't really get pressure cracks....but I'm also only 5'9" 150lbs with size 8 feet.
