..Or I could get a blank with grip at my local skateshop for 20 bucks...

The BEST Deal in this thread so far was on blankdecks.com the one where they give you a complete for 70 bucks. I would pick destructo or venture trucks, jessup grip, canadian blank, pro white grooved wheels, and all that good shit.

their very strong. concave is between medium and mellow, kind of like a girl, but the tail wears down at a medium rate

Blanks are killing the skateboarding industry.

no argument there, just pointing that out.

www.ebay.com then search for user coilovers. He sells Canadian maple 7 ply. They are 110% worth your money. 5 for 49.95 + 14.95 shipping. Only blanks I will ever buy.

I would rather snap (by mistake obviously) a $20 blank than a $50 board with a logo on the bottem.

I ride a Mini-Logo right now and I have a blank from Blank Skate Supply thats waiting to be used.

The Mini-Logo has nice pop and good concave and doesn't chip easily, but I would like them to be a bit more durable. I have an unexplained crack on the far right side of the board near the front bolts. I can't remember how I got it, and it doesn't even effect the board itself (The board doesn't even feel weaker than before or anything, but the crack is just there, not serving a purpose).

As for the BSS deck, I dunno. I've been hearing mixed reviews about them. I guess I'll find it once I skate it.

speed demon blanks are proably the best blanks you can get. they are just like graphic decks (pattern graphics) but only 30 dollars. they are strong and everything you would want in a board.

never skated a blank.I got a friend who just collects like reg skate brand decks and puts them on his wall cuz he's a rich mf but anyways he flows me some decks usually.

i agree...but at the same time i dont...

it doesnt take $50 to make a board, and "blank" decks are now giving the same quality of say a baker/zero/alien workshop/(insert favorite deck here) for half the price...so it may be a good thing because deck prices may drop...

at the same time, blanks might just take over.......

how? they're contributing to the industry, back when blanks were all every1 skated the brand name boards killed them and now blanks are killing the brand name boards.
