    Fender Mustang amps any good?
I have a Roland Cube 40x now but I'm looking for a harsher sound.

This guy I know has the Mustang II I think, it's the 60-watt solid state. It's an amp that just imitates other amps' sounds honestly. It doesn't really have its own personal tone or anything, either.

The Mustangs sound okay for solid states, but I hate its interface. There's like 100 pre programmed tones and going through them is a pain in the ass. Yeah, you can adjust the customize the tones, but I should be able to do that in the first place.

I've got a Vox VT 120+ and I absolutely love it. It's tube powered with a collection of modeling features from other amps, and it's pretty straightforward. I dunno what your price range is, but I got mine for a little under $500 and it's got two 12' speakers, so it gets loud. They have smaller models as well.

I've got a mustang and it's pretty awesome. As said earlier, it recreates sounds of other vintage fender amplifiers. The cool thing about this amp is that they're's a bunch of effects pedals in it (I'm loving the fuzz on the V.2) which is pretty crazy for the price. I can create some of the weirdest psychedelic-synth sounding tones with but I can also make it sound like a warm tube amp (by increasing the BIAS and lowering the SAG). Oh, and in my opinion, I don't find the interface that of a pain in the ass. You can scroll really quickly through the presets (I have the 3 V.2 with the LCD screen so I wouldn't know about the older versions interface). Oh and it's really loud.

She's a beaut. If anybody's seriously curious about the amp I can film a quick demo sometime and just dilly dally with some chords and settings.

Do you use any pedals or effects or anything with it man? I got this homemade semi-hollow tele made by an old guitar shop and I love it as well!

There's a few build in effects that I use for my avant-garde sound projects, but otherwise I just use a footswitch with clean and distorted pre-sets.

So stoked, my buddy has the keys to a practice studio that's fully stocked with amps, a PA system and everything else we'd need to jam. It's part of his school to work program, he's in charge of cleaning and looking after the instruments and stuff. Only problem is now we need a drummer and we can start recording...sooooo stoked

Wife got me a sweet new Ibanez guitar the sound with my pedal is great. It really replaced my current lead guitar that I used because it has better sound. Only thing I hate is the bar is a locking on so I have to hold on to it if I plan to use it.

Wasn't really stocked on the purple body but now I'm liking it. You can only really play black guitars for so long that you want a little color.

Just picked this up at Salvation Army.

They were trying to get rid of it for five bucks, but since I played a show there for their music sale I had some store credit leftover and payed nothing.

I play the drums in a few bands:

The Violent SHifters (Loud garage punk gearhead rock n roll)

Narco States (Psych rock garage punk)

and occasionally fill in on Aloha From Hell (Cramps tribute band)

Music and skateboarding are one in the same for me and continue to be a creative outlet!

I am currently playing drums, and so happy I have started it recently. There are https://handpanguru.com/steel-tongue-drums/ which you should purchase for sure. Without this equipment you can't continue learning.

Btw, I have a 2011 American Fender telecaster and a Blues Deluxe reissued amp. My new band is playing its first show tomorrow. I do vocals, guitar, and a couple songs on bass.
