I play for the band Rizn(www.myspace.com/thebandhasrizn).
I play metal, thrash and death.
I need to get in and get more quality recordings, my friend wants to record my band so I'll see how that goes.
These are some guitars I am looking into..

This is the tread where you can talk about your band, what gear you use, reviews of gear, etc. What every your band does can go here.

I almost got that Warlock, and that ESP, but it was in silver.
Anyway, I'm not in a band yet.

Just get an Epiphone Les Paul Custom or something, you can get one like 400, and theyre pretty gnar and you can play heavy stuff. Or try a fat strat maybe
I say get that K3 Kelly by Jackson, Ive been thinking of getting that guitar cause it has a single pickup in between the humbuckers and a tremo bar.
And about the Bronze Warlock I heard they become out of tune very easy, even after you tune it back up.
yeah same here, i heard warlocks don't stay in tune worth shit.
Im in a psychedelic blues band. We just started and we don't have a singer yet. Ive been writing alot of good songs, ive written a couple with some boruqe type feel(bach and stuff). My band mates aren't very productive so ive been doing alot. One really gets my angry all the time.
Psychedelic blues is where its at man, what kind of gear do you guys use?Originally Posted by Klausfloride

Zeppelin wasnt psychedelic blues, Cream was, Floyd, Vanilla Fudge, The Zombies and 13th Floor Elevators are better examples
ok myspace is being a bitch, and I can't upload a better vocal take of Skull *ucked By Maggots..... (http://www.myspace.com/suicideattempt) vocals suck again but are way better then the last one (the mic pauses a few times)
but anyway
guitars- Ibanez Iceman and Destoryer
bass- Ibanez GSR 200, BTB 6-string and another one- pick ups are screwed up getting new ones.
Some if zepplins stuff could probably be considered it.Originally Posted by Anti-Hero

Yeah, I thought about getting a bass for my birthday because my brother taught me the frets and stuff and it's extremely fun, but I have to practice on the E string of his guitar which pretty much sucks. Any suggestion in the $200 range?
i play bass in a gothic metal band.. our main influences are murderdolls and cradle of filth.
Theres a yamaha bass thats about 180 usually, forget the name, but its really a good bassOriginally Posted by PoPwAr PiLL
Well in the $200 price range I got my first bass, an Ibanez GSR 200, its a basic 4 string, 3 band EQ lets you make your own tone, with knobs that you can set the low, mid, and high volume on the bass. The down side is that the pick ups need an 9-volt battery to work. But other then that its great.

Iv always been a fan of em, they have a killer vibe!
i play drums and i use a premier double bass with 3 rack toms 1 floor tom china ride and hi hat cymbals and a hat trick
why are bass players looked down upon i am a bass player in my band and i think i'm just as important as our guitar player
yeah, they're the most important part of the band. w/out them the songs would just fall apart.Originally Posted by CANADIAN Skater ah!

RIP OneManga.com, July 2010. you were fuckin' awesome
No I feel that bass does add heavyness to the songs, like The Promise of Fever, Hammer Smashed Face, and other songs like that. Lamb of God is not a part of that cause the bass player tunes his bass to a dropped D, so they might as well have 3 guitar players.
But I play guitar
