EA are a bunch of bitches for announcing Skate 4 when two indie companies pushing to bring skating back. They really going to wait a whole decade and when they see interest do that? Seems scumy

Yeah that’s what I was thinking. But it probably won’t be out until late next year I bet. They give Skater XL and Session a lot of room to get a fan base.

I'll play it. I'm 0% hopeful though. Skate 3 was already littered with micros in 2010. I had to buy local multiplayer for 15 bucks..... EA in 2020?? Here's your 5 skaters and 1 skatepark. Feel free to purchase additional content from our store..

i mean they're a business lol. They produce games to make money not because those old executives love skateboarding.

And realistically if they pick up where they left off with skate 3 in terms of the game actually being good, it'll probably end up being better than skater xl/session just because ea has so much more money to spend on the budget.

It'll probably have a much bigger and more polished base game but the mod scene of SkaterXL is dope.

And if they stick with the classic Skate controls with stead of the two stick/two feet controls of Session and XL then I dont see it being as good of a simulator as the aforementioned.

At the end of the day Im still gonna get it ��. Im hopeful and it might end up being really good or really bad but we'll see.

Sessions and XL Skate both suck though. You can tell they jumped in to make money because not a lot of work has gone into them. It's just like free skate in horrible levels. For XL Skate one level they need to had some sort of story or goals because just skating around get boring fast.

Yeah I don't really like the look of either. The Skate series was a perfect blend of both gameplay/story/being an actual game that regulars could enjoy, and skate dynamics that skaters could appreciate. It might have jumped the shark a little at times, but I have super fond memories of Skate 3 just going back and forth in one of the pools for hours on end

Friends, it's been a long time, but there is no news about skate 4.. Ea sports are really sick bastards who are not able to give their audience what they want. I looked up information about skate 4 on https://insider.games/ and it said that while they are experiencing problems with the development of the game. Why can't you transfer development management to a subsidiary and just control it? are they really so happy to listen to the nasty things that are poured on them on Twitter? And now a huge negative has poured on them from the audience and for other games, and I see that this is not without reason.
