    Default Doing ollies down stuff

    Yo dudes
So Ive been skating for like 5 years now, pretty on/off, especially lately since everyone has quit skating literally
ive always been super inconsistent and bad at committing
my ollies are pretty good and high, i cant bone them (atleast not willingly) but they're not bad at all
i have trouble committing while doing ollies down shit. my front foot just doesnt want to stay in the board no matter what

what are some tips you guys recommend for this?

Do some mushrooms and keep your front foot steady

I would say it's an effect of your confidence just not being there, do more ollies down things you are fully confident with and gradually get higher until you don't even think twice about if you can land or not. Personally for me if I have doubts I'm more likely to go into the trick kicking it away then if I've done something once or my mind tells me that this is within my skill level I'll commit and either land/bail but no annoying kick out.

its weird cuz theres this specific gap i wanna ollie that has a bank on its side
think of it like a bank with a 5stair on the side and u can ollie the corner
i can ollie into the bank from the highest point but not the actual corner
    its so weird
im trying to fix my ollies in general by doing more and doing wierd stuff and i think its kinda working
but heights have always been my issue

Slowly build up to it. Get curbs down, then find a 2 or 3 and slowly progress

It seems like if you learn how to fall/bail well it increases confidence quite a bit. I never learned personally, always just smacked hands/knees/done weird ankle shit but I need to if I get back into skating.
