I wanted to reach out and introduce myself. My name is Yassin Koptan. I’m one of the first generation skateboarders in Egypt and a filmmaker based in LA.

I recently released my short film Piece of Wood. It’s about a teen that gets his skateboard taken away by security and has to find a way to get it back.
