Default Thunder Titanium Lights vs Independent Stage 11

I need a truck for my first skateboard. I was thinking to buy indy 139's but I saw thunder titanium Light 147 is somehow cheaper in my country. Which one should I go with?

I personally prefer Thunder over stage 11s. They're both great trucks though! can't really go wrong with either.

Some people say they are not as stable as indys. That's confusing me.

I would go with independent, they make rock solid products and kingpins are changeable.

Go with whichever you like. They're both good trucks.

Is stronger really your criteria? You're not 250 pounds jumping down 15 stairs are you?

Can I use thunders with 53 mm wheels? Any chance of wheelbite?

I use thunders with 54 mm wheels and I do get wheelbite but I've never really noticed it while skating (only when I look at my deck afterward and see the scratches from it). If those titaniums are cheaper I'd go for them. If you do end up getting bothered by the wheelbite, maybe try a riser pad.
