Default I can't god damn turn

Hello, everyone.I just joined this forum and this is my first post ,so be gentle please.So...as the title says ,i cant turn for days.I started 1 and a half week ago to skate and so far i learned by my own to :stand on my board and not fall, how to push and how to put my pushing foot on the board. All good so far ,i can stay on my board with cruising speed until i go in the direction my back foot's toes touch on my board and have to bail out and not hit the obstacle. An important detail is that i can't switch my front foot from vertical to orizontal so maybe that's the problem. Can i steer the board without switching my front foot?

You can loosen your trucks to make it easier to turn by learning.

It can take a fair amount of time before feeling comfortable riding on the board, just practice and be patient.

Weirdly enough turning came super easy to me but I do agree that i had major trouble being able to change foot position while riding. After hours and days of just roling around I just started to get more comfortable overall on the board and without even thinking I could move around a bit. Keep with it and it will come.

Considering this was about 6 months ago, I'd like to know how your progress has been.

being able to cruise and turn comfortably can take some time--also finding your optimal truck tightness can take a bit. just adjust every time you ride until you find that balance. and as others have said just practice
