    Default I've got a question

Is it worth to buy Skateboarding Made Simple or is it better if I see their videos on YT?

its better to get out on a board and learn for yourself than spend money and time watching trick tips. theres only so much a trick tip can teach you and you can easily find hundreds of thousands of trick tips on youtube

you can spend an hour watching trick tips on 360 flips or an hour trying them and you'll be better off after trying them for an hour than watching a video on how to do it.

I watch some youtube videos when I can't figure out a trick or when I'm first trying to learn it, but I'd never pay for a trick tip. The best advice is from a friend or someone in person

When I was first learning tricks many moons ago now, Tony Hawk's Trick Tips were the only instructional videos I ever bought and they shed plenty of light on everything from ollies to tre flips to hardflips and are taught by pros like Koston and Kris Markovich. They're all on YouTube

Truth. Nobody can teach you how you feel on your board. Tips can help, but nothing can compare to just skating and figuring out how you do tricks.

The best thing is to actually ride and try the tricks, even if it takes time. The other best thing is skate with people who know how to do them. That way you can see up close what is going on, get a better idea on foot placement, etc. How to vids are good, they do have their place, but I'd save it for when the weather doesn't allow for skating.
