used to be one of the sickest skateshops 20 years back. now 99,9% of their fan base has no clue at all, which is kind of cool. they're pretty much making bank off how people suck

I actually like some of the designs... Also Palace. I like the look of Palace better though their logo is sick. Wouldn't buy though expensive as fk. And I'll admit I'm a broke mothafoka.

Generally priced pretty high but it depends on the item. their stuff is pretty good quality across the board.

I buy 15 dollar discount skate shirts *shrugs* most expensive thing I've bought was like a 40 dollar Emerica or Spitfire hoodie.

I think the whole hype beast thing behind it is pretty stupid.

tbh i'm like the thriftiest person ever. Like $15 is too much for a t shirt to me and like all my clothes (even the nice stuff) has been scored for super good deals

Supreme is like my one indulgent thing I do. Like if I wanna buy something for too much money because I can that's the thing i go for

idk how Supreme stuff ended up like that for me but oh well

Yeah, I just binge at once and order like 6-8 shirts every 6 months and usually end up getting it cheaper than 15. I've got a friend like that though, he'll straight only shop at Goodwill yet has suuuuper expensive watches.

yeah i feel like everybody has some stuff like that

Like I just bought $5 pants and then dropped $80 on a hat and a beanie I totally don't need

    I realize it's objectively crazy

tho i think part of it is that it's a little fun to have something that you can only buy for like 30 seconds one time and it's gone forever. the fact that getting supreme stuff is such a headache and takes so much work is almost like, part of it. if it was mass produced and you could buy this stuff whenever i probably wouldn't own any of it

I thought about buying a vans hat when I was purchasing the baseball snapbacks but I never get their shoes so passed on that.
I don't really care for skate clothing and I think passed a certain age it just looks tacky.

I understand that part from friends back in the day buying Jordan's and stuff. I just hate the Cali/LA kids who wear it, I actually have rarely seen it irl.

Luckily it fits for me, my only other option is \\m// music shirts which...nah. I mostly stick to brands like Deathwish,Krew,Supra, etc. I don't buy any of the super gaudy bright colored shit. Mostly it's just a logo or the brand name in some huge font or something. I wear flannels and sweatshirts/hoodies when it's cold though and only 2 of those are sk8r boi status.

i feel like the more zumiez-tier the brand is the harder it is to wear when you're older. Supreme/Palace/Polar/Magenta/stuff like that doesn't seem weird on older dudes. especially the rarer more upscale stuff.

even Gosha is getting in on skate clothes

but like diamond or grizzly then yeah, you better be 13

True, I feel some of those brands cater to the older guys who still shred but most of the other skate clothes I see today I would never wear personally. I'd feel like some old sk9r dude billboard who's having a quarter life crisis. The most I thought about getting is a hat and a jacket but something low profile, very low profile I'd wear.

If i wasn't a broke fuck in high school, I would probably buy a hat or something. I like the brand but the hype beasts can kind of ruin it at times. I generally buy shirts on the discount rack at my skateshop tho.

honestly it's just the downhill turn of the company and the ignorance of the people that wear it that pisses me off
not trying to sound like i'm on a pedestal but some shit just really gets me heated

that's exactly what pisses me off about it. Just go to L.A. near the beach and the boardwalk and the skate park and you see all of these young-ass girls and guys wearing thrasher, supreme, and palace that don't even skate and just want to look like they're chill as fuck and down as fuck and cool as fuck whilst these companies (except for thrasher) have no problems turning a blind eye to skating industry and community in order to get some bank and recognition from kids that are gonna move on from their brand and find something else to pretend to like 3.9999999999999999999999999 months later. ugh
