Question I need a software for ramped slow motion

I have Adobe After Effects but I can't launch it, there won't appear any errors etc. Do you know any software to recommend to do ramped slow motion just like in my signature

    1. Cut single clip up into thirds.
    2. Make the middle part of the clip the shortest, and make it slow-mo
    3. Make sure the three parts blend seamlessly.
    4. ???
    5. Profit.

I'm sure that's not the technical way to do it, but that's how I do it and it works okay.

in aae it was called time remapping im not sure if you can do it in other programs but you can do a "fake" ramped slowmo in sony vegas (or any other program really i just like vegas)

basically, you wanna find where you want the slowmo to start (usually around when they pop) and split the clip by pressing S, and then go along the timeline two notches by pressing the right arrow key twice, then split it again. you want to keep doing this until youve split it an odd number of times up to where you want it to end (usually before theyre gonna land). i find either 7 or 9 works best but it depends on the clip.

then you slow the clips with vegas by holding ctrl, clicking the end of the clip and dragging along to the right. the further you drag the more it slows also make sure you've moved the other splits along the timeline though so they dont blend together. when slowing you wanna do it like this (this is for 7 splits):

    1st split: 1
    2nd split: 2
    3rd split: 3
    4th split: 4
    5th split: 3
    6th split: 2
    7th split: 1

basically you're just gradually slowing it then speeding it back up to simulate the effect of a ramped slowmo. when youve done that youll also wanna right click on each of the split audio tracks, choose properties and on the section that says "pitch change" choose lock to stretch otherwise itll sound fucked

heres some examples with some iphone clips i just knocked up, obviously it isnt the best example since its iphone footy and bad audio quality but hopefully you get the gist of it. the first clip had 9 splits, the second 7 and the last 9 again but as said before all dependent on the clip. a

hopefully that made some sense and you get what i mean if not theres plenty of tuts on youtube i learned this years ago so i dunno if its still relevant but judging from the clips it seems to work well.

final cut is good for that. i never bothered to find out if it had the effect but like they said above, you just cut it up and individually adjust each section
