Which would be better for street skating, the 99 or 101? The roads ain't perfect here, but not horrible either

They sent me the classic shape. I've been riding them since late April and they've barely gone down in size. And I skate some shitty ass concrete sometimes.

Did you not specify when you ordered them?

I got them early from an Instagram give away. I made a thread about it months back but quickly deleted it because Nate from DLX asked me to not be too vocal about them on the Internet until they were out. I got the 99a wheels in a size 52 and they live up to the hype.

Loving mine, been powersliding all over the place, such a great slide, so much fun.

I'm going to be pool/bowl skating (Venice Park and The Cove) on the regular very soon once I get my move sorted so I'm going to grab some 56 101s (essentially fulls). Can't wait =D

Just ordered a pair of the Red/White 101A, 52mm. Should be here hopefully by Friday. I've been paying close attention to some of the Spitfires team riders on Instagram. Malto, and Cole seem to be riding the 99A Blue/White Formula Fours (Judging by the Blue on the sides of wheels). Doesn't suprise me they are skating the softer blue and white wheel since the red and white one hardness makes skating on fine cement like ice. However, Just a month ago O'neill posted a pic of him still riding the F1 Street Burners. I'm interested to see if these wheels actually pick up and people actually use them unlike the P2 Decks that I can't find any pro riding.

I was skating the f1 streetburners in the exact same size and shape before i got my f4's. I cant imagine putting the f1s back on at this point.

Maybe Oneill likes the F1s? They only suck once they flatspot and I'm sure he's got plenty of them.
I've only ever seen Garret Hill and David Gonzales riding P2s.

I have the 53mm classic 99a, they don't flatspot but my contact patch is starting to literally rip away from the sidewall of the wheel. I'm pretty disappointed considering I went lightly on the wheel to really test it/give it some wear in time.
R.I.P CJ Ford. Gone, Never forgotten. I love you and miss you already man, can't wait to skate with you again one day.

You probably got a bad batch, mine are still good, I've been giving them a good thrashing and they are still practically new besides the graphics

My 99s are doing pretty well and they ride fairly well on the rough east coast pavement. They slide pretty well to and the anti stick slide is not a gimmick!
