    Default Spitfire Formula Four

Who's picking up a set when they release?

I'm eager to try them out but still have my eye on the new 100a dual duro Autobahns...

i've been on them for a few weeks already. i got the 99a 54mm classic shape ones. they slide like you're on an ice sheet. rock hard but still feel good. not the plasticy stf "feel" but very similar performance. very fun when its dry, a nightmare when its wet. predictable slide and very easy to pull back in. they're so much fun i might try the 101a set next...

I'm stuck on duro - I mean we're talking two points here...but will go for the classic shape.

How's the grip of the 99s with reverts and such?

The formula four handles much more smoothly than bones.

I've been riding mine since about late April/early May. They hold up to their claims and at this rate I'm probably sold for life.

I'm still on the fence, what are you hoping to achieve with the 101s that the 99s aren't providing?

I just wanted to try the 101 formula to see which one I would prefer. I love the 99a so far.

    Well damn, Spitfire nailed it!

I just returned from skating back and forth to the gym on fresh wheels - all I did was slide and slide and slide, two wheel, four, fun 360 slides...these things are amazing so far.

They really do feel like classics, but harder (riding 101a), so I am glad I didn't go with the 99a (tho I would if I was skating park/bowls). For anyone who hated the STF plasticy feel, you won't be disappointed.

Such amazing sounds when sliding and you really feel in total control of your slides without feeling like you are going to stick OR slide out, crazy. I've not been skating much of late but was easily getting 4' of slide with little effort. Can't wait to try bluntslides on them.

They're really hard! Coming off my OJs, the F4s make the OJs feel dull/dead by comparison.
