    Default Sail Boat

I was in Toronto for a few days and had about an hour of free time so I went for a walk by the water, found this sailboat at about the right time. This is an HDR combined in photoshop CS5 and processed at 32 bit in LR4.3, new feature which I find really powerful.

nice dude, HDR's are cool when they're not way over the top.

Ya thats what I like about the 32 bit. You don't do any processing in photoshop, just "merge to hdr pro" from light room, then click 32 bit, save it and process like a raw image in LR4. When you get it back though its a 32 bit tif with all the data from all 3 or 5 frames. You get really natural results. This shot is as close to what my eye saw as I could get it.

    Thanks man.

I like it dude, Not overcooked as said above.

if I were to get picky I'd say it coulda been a little looser of a crop, maybe get the whole front of the boat, But thats not really a make or break.

    Sick shot, dude

Thanks man. I did take a few looser shots but they didn't look nearly as good. The lines worked much better here and the position of the sun as well, couldn't go any looser to the right because the front of another boat is intersecting. I actually kinda like that its a tight crop because it's not the typical shot a person would take. Cheers.

Gratefully I found this amazing place delaware boat registration just at the right time. Now I can easily do my work, without worrying about other complications. I cannot imagine my work life without this site.
