25 mph is like 10 really hard pushes.

regular skating is like 15 maybe.

    80 mph is achievable hahahaha

The Distance between Pomona and Riverside is 21 miles. You're really gonna skate that far?

I'd take a bus or car or something

Just take a bus lol. But if this helps any, my school is about 2 miles away, and I can get there in 10-15 minutes at my cruising speed which is probably like.. 10 mph - 15 mph I'm guessing.

For pushing across town on level ground, your average speed is a function of how hard you push, how often you push and how much speed your board will carry while rolling. Ever see skaters walking down the road for miles while carrying a board? ... teeny hard wheels and dirty bearings can be a bummer for pushing 'cross town. Bigger and softer is faster on asphalt because the wheels allow the board to carry more speed.

Presuming you've got a good, smooth roller and taking out descents on good sloped hills, you'll be 10-15 miles per hour when rolling and the trip you're talking about will take you two hours. Your boardside quad will get a good workout and you might shinsplint your push side if you slap too hard or tippy toe. Do it switch style (push 2 times regular, then 2 times switch, repeat) and you'll get so freakin' strong...
    Yes, I'm compensating for something!

Stop by Chino/Ayala. I'll give you a ride to Pomona after we skate.

id guess 25 miles would probably take 1.5 to 2 hrs at a decent speed, like not hauling your ass but not just pokin along either

8 miles took me like 2 hours although I stopped at a school and ran into some friends and chilled with them for like a while then walked the rest of the way haha.

You might want to check either your distance or speed. You do realize that 30 miles in two hours means a 15 mph average right? That means for all the time you spent stopped or accelerating to 15, you went over 15 to make up for it. But you didn't so oh well.

2 hours for thirty miles? it takes me one hour to go seven miles to the beach. that's skating flat for 99% of the time though. and skating 15 miles an hour is way faster than you guys might think. someone pushing 25 on flat is insane.

    that's 19 mph with a motor

    take a bus.

If you're going to skate that far, better plan according to it because it will take you all day. it's doable though.

I would say average is about 10 to 12 mph. If you skate 25 miles your gonna wear your pushing leg hip joint out, I wouldn't advise it.

Average is like 5-8 on flat, any more and you'd where yourself out.
