There's gonna be a brand new indoor park on Cape Cod soon. It's supposed to be done in like 2 weeks!!! Ill let you guys know when it opens so you can visit. I'll take some pics too! And it's not as big as Skaters Edge, so don't be disappointed.

Is the Charles River one the huge one that's planned for Boston under that bridge?

If so then I have no fuckin' clue.

I read about them building that park in 8th grade, over 5 years ago and it still hasn't been done yet....shit pisses me off no one respects skaters.

Sick! where's it gonna be? Please don't say like, Chatham. I'm down with Hyannis/Barnstable though.

Oh, and I just wanna publicly say how much I fucking hate skater's edge. The biggest pricks in MA skate there. I'd rather skate shitty Martha's Vineyard spots.

Right in Hyannis near the mall!!! Sweet right?! I actually asked the guy who works there if we could look at it and he let us walk around and look at everything. There's like a 24 foot mini ramp that has a 4 foot section, 6 ft section, and like a 8 ft section. It looks so amazing. Then there's like a 7 stair, which looks a little bit smaller then the one at Skaters Edge. Aaaaaand a pyramid, fun box with a rail, 2 hubbas, little roll-in, and some other boxes and ledges and stuff. It looks awesome. Also they aren't covering the ramps with that slippery garbage they have at Edge, so that's good. The guy who worked there said it would be open by the end of June! The pricing is gonna be similar to Skaters Edge though i think. Like 10-15 bucks a session. I forget how long the sessions are, but I think it's pretty decent. And I think you're gonna be able to rent out the place. Also you can rent pads and boards too. A year pass is gonna be like $650 :( But it should be worth it in the long run if you go a lot! They're actually having a raffle for a free year pass. The other part of the building is paint ball/laser tag, and if you play paint ball you can enter the raffle. So yeah.

And I should have taken pictures, but oh well, it'll be open soon! :)

If you end up traveling up North a little bit, there is Zero Gravity skate park in VT and only $8 non-resident pass.It is a decent selection of ramps, quarter pipes, foam pit, tramp and we did some new setups with new ramps.

It would be about 2.5 hours from Boston and there is also ski/snowboard progression (tramp action, summer jib setup) at Whaleback Mountain (Enfield NH) that makes it a little unique.

have fun, you won't see me there.

Capeskater- thats so sick, I'll definitely check that out. Definitely way closer to me and from what you say it sounds way more fun than edge. I still have to pay $86 to take my car off island though <_<

You could always just take the Flex bus from the pier to the cape cod mall (skate park would be like a 5 minute walk tops). It would probably save you $80!

whoa, what?! from Woods Hole? Good call. I had no idea that existed, just the Peter Pan bus to Boston and Worcester and shit.

Oh, if anyone finds themselves on Martha's Vineyard let me know. We'll shred.

Yeah solstice is really nice. I like this shop in RI called Civil as well because they have so much product. I just got an Krooked Mark Gonzalez deck, eight inches and it is so good.
