And it's not a matter of Sb-C condoning it, it's the fact that they're obnoxious, and the same conversation over and over again. Do NOT make any more of these. I haven't talked to the other mods, but from here on out if you start one and I see it, you're done forever.
The new sticky was necessary just for catching extra attention, let's hope it can only be temporary.

You're gay. There are plenty of broad topics that are just as obnoxious. You shouldn't ban all drug threads, when some are productive, and there are plenty of other shitty non-drug threads.
yeah dude theres really no point to specifically point out drug threads because they don't really cause much problem, just ban people who make stupid threads in general... that makes way more sense and is easier not to mess up
Where will you draw the line, there are alot of good threads involving stories about drugs. I guess you mean drug questions, and I'll agree there are way to many.

I think it should be dealt with on a thread by thread bases, if the thread isn't good enough to be actually discussed/have a laugh/talk about something remotely interesting then it should be deleted. There has been good drug threads.

And I could argue that there are too many questions about tons of other shit, yet I don't. Why? Because it's a motherfucking message board and you aren't forced to read anything, if you have a problem with it then don't look.
But honestly, how hard is it to moderate a couple extra drug threads? You would handle it in the same manner as any other threads, if it's bullshit or spam then delete it.
If you get the sense that I care, I can assure you, I do not. But it does annoy me to the point of writing this little post (the fact that you are only after the drug threads, when there are tons of other shit topics that pop up everyday that don't get deleted, yet an informational thread about possibly serious information does). I don't find them so, and at that, there's been more drug-unrelated obnoxious threads on this site by far. Further, only some drugs are the "same conversation over and over again" - Aldous Huxley wrote a whole book (and a very interesting one, to users and non-users alike) dealing primarily with mescaline and its use, relevance to art, shamanic use, etc. called "The Doors of Perception".
I won't try to act like I'm going to change anything, I'd just like to point out that only some drug threads are repetitive and obnoxious (especially in comparison to much of the nonsense that is discussed on this site).
and if you have a problem with the rules no one is stopping you from leaving.
the way i see it is the drug users are going to be against this and the non drug users are going to for it. just let it go, damn.
How does it matter if they are made or not. Nobody likes reading about how someone got drunk and then did some stupid things but tons of those threads are made too.
