I doubt any of you have ever had the privilege of being in Winsford in Cheshire but the council built the most pathetic excuse of a skatepark there ages ago and even if it wasn't full of glass and chavs it would still be a death trap.

its basically a tarmac circuit of varying hills, with an ominious steel spine on the only flat built. The best part of it is coming down a slope littered with steel "slalom poles" then at the top (yes TOP) of a slope there is a steel ramp at about 120 degrees. If for some miracle of science you have managed to get enough speed up a hill to launch off it (maybe you could get a chav to pull you on their moped) you will land in dog shit and broken wkd bottles

Word! If you're not willing to clean up your own park you don't deserve one! Fact.

Lol I think London is the worst place to find a good skate park, with all the chavs and what not roaming about in each corner..

My local skate park is is so bad in my opinion. The ground is all uneven and not smooth at all. They have a half pipe which always has liitle kids are 'chavs' sat on it. One flatbar and one ledge and that's it. I wish there was somewhere decent to skate in my area, it sucks so bad. I have hardly anywhere to practice.

My local has to be the worst..
There is a half pipe which is warped on both transitions, The quarter pipes were built upside down so it's basically a vert, the box is like this steep /. But the rail is quite nice, I learnt boardlsides there :)

I used to go there, then they replaced the mini ramp surface with the slippiest material ever seen, but the transitions were actually quite cool I thought, whippy is good for me :P

then the scooter plague took over
