No man, I had both turbo and NA and neither had that problem.

I did however have experience with broken digital dashes, broken selectable suspension, broken radio, and broken air.

not that my opinion matters, but i think your truck would look a hell of a lot sexier with a bobbed bed. I like your approach of motor first though, and nothing can beat the proven chevy smallblock.
