hahaha its all good, I thought you were innocent thats why I desperately PM'd you, but little did I know you were a lying low, scheming bastard all along
  3. So ultimately I was more happy than not with the decision. If you're going for a trade, I think it's a good route to go. Most any employer values military experience with an honorable discharge, and the training you get from the service is pretty comprehensive.

And no, you won't power lift in basic :)
  4. Was I happy with the decision; On the whole, yes. Make no mistake, there will be plenty of stressful times in the service, regardless of the job you take. The same can be said for any job, sure, but the pressure is much higher and there is a big emphasis on doing everything right. They don't exaggerate when they say every job has meaning and consequence, you rely on your team more than you think. Beyond that, there were plenty of rewarding moments and great benefits to the job. If you can room with people off base or just live on base(pretty much like college dorms) and take advantage of the galley for free food, you can save a lot of money. And the benefits are good, especially if you do plan on going to college, they have a lot of programs aside from the G.I. Bill for that.
  5. On the .gov sales pitch: You already know the sites geared at recruiting are going to be a glorified sales pitch. With that in mind, the work likely isn't going to be as glamorous at they will try to make it sound. Recruiters themselves will be the same at first, but when you get to know them as a person and not some salesman, they will give you some pretty straight answers.

Why I did military vs traditional; Main reason, my family has a pretty deep military background. Auxiliary reason; Even though I did very well in high school, I coasted. I came to realize that maybe I wasn't mature enough to have the self discipline for it. I saw the military as a chance to straighten up and earn benefits in conjunction with my state scholarship to get to go to college debt free. Me personally, the G.I. bill the military offers turned out to be the best benefit from the service.
  6. Sure thing, what's on your mind?

I slipped out it was injected. I was like, oh it bypasses the stomach and liver so it's not as dangerous as say, oral AASs, and she's like, "Well how do you take it," Me: Fuck. I printed out peer reviewed articles and she refuses to read them smh
