Believable. I know a few people that have had subpar experiences with Hondas, but that could be for a variety of reasons.

Hondas and Subarus are overpriced because there's that whole they'll run for a million miles stigma to them. I know Honda engines are almost bulletproof, but the transmissions and the rest of the car aren't. Well engineered and long lasting, sure, but if they weren't maintained perfectly something will still fuck up. Miles add up on any car.
