COME BaCK TO US!

Received the Turbines on Wednesday, after 3 weeks of waiting, and I absolutely love them. They sound great right out of the box, even without an amp. I don't find the bass overpowering at all, but it does of course provide a significant contrast with my Alessandro MS-1. Microphonics aren't as bad as some people noted, and they look great in person too.

Overall a steal for the 100 dollars I paid for them. If you're ever considering them, by all means, go for it.

What happened to the D2? I remember you making a thread about it.

It's a Nuforce Icon Mobile with a Qables Performance LOD. I did have to send the cable back though, since it was defective. Hopefully I'll get a replacement soon.

Heh, I knew you were going to say something along the lines of that. I ended up getting the turbines, as I'm going to embark on a 9 hour bus ride this weekend, and I want an IEM that will provide at least some isolation.

I'm not totally oblivious, I've done my research. Lately I've been lurking head-fi again after asking you about computer speakers for the Macbook a while back. I've spent about 350 dollars already:
