I am sure that 99% of this forum has never used rockn rons, and will pick bones.
Even though it's quite clear that rockn rons > any bones.

a friend of mine is going to buy rock'n rons pretty soon, he just needs his reds to break. which shouldnt be long. and i would buy some, but my super swiss 6 are doing fine.

hot damn, ballistecs blow swiss 6's out of the water.
yup, I've read alot of wonderful things about Rockin Rons. I am gonna get it in a few days time. And they definitely are better than Bones Reds.
does rockn rons have a website, I can't find any solid information on their bearings? how many bearings do they have? Until I get solid info I am sticking with my swiss just cause they are trustworthey.

Yeah, all of them, except for the ones that cost $16, $25, and $30. sheesh.
the 80 dollar ones are like... crazy speedboarder bearings.

i am also the other 1% that have used bones and rock n rons. i seriously fucking like rock n rons way better than reds. i have the ballistech rockets($24 ones) and they roll way faster and alot smoother than bones. every single second when speeding with the rons bearings feels like the bearings itself, keeps pushing itself to make you go farther! i just love that feeling

dude...drizzle is pretty much always right about skateboard products. he knows all about bearings and such and knows the MOST about trucks. im not sucking up to him or anythin, but im just speakin da truth. one time he said that rock n rons were the best and explained why and stuff so i bought myself some ballistech rockets and my god he is right.

its funny that guys like drizzle and myself, if you look at our posts, will speak volumes to rockin rons credit and were not paid or endorsed in any way by ron. we just know that they are the greatest bearings known to man, and bones cant come close in customer service or value. ron is a skater, george powell is a business man. stacy was the driving creative force at powell, and now it's a company that has no corner on the market like it did in the 80s with stacy. ron's business will continue to grow because YOU will become a faithful rider just like we are, and you will attest to the bearing's greatness as well.

I ride a birdhouse deck. it's a terrible board, but it's 9 inches wide, and just a great shape. Never buy a birdhouse, though.
Tracker sixtrack trucks
Autobahn enduro wheels

^ are those bearings called "rocknrons rockets"? or the missles?
drizzle
05-21-2007, 03:15 PM
I got the rockets a long time ago, before he switched manufacturers. the missiles are faster, though
Spearson32
05-21-2007, 03:50 PM
^ sweet missiles are only five bucks more
but the website itll be a while till missiles are restocked
should i just get the rockets instead?
drizzle
05-21-2007, 03:52 PM
You could always get missiles another time...

whats the point of fast bearings it just makes it harder to land off something high, i used to have redz but now i have panthers abec 5 its alot easyer to do gaps
Spearson32
05-21-2007, 05:01 PM
^ eh
wrong
first off fast bearings give you more speed to do those gaps
second
if you had good control of your board (not saying you dont)
then you will find its easier

fast bearings keep you rolling for longer. some of us like that.
Also, if you're doing a gap or drop, and you have slow bearings, you're taking the chances that your bearings will just stop when you land, making you fall. Trust me, it's happened to me.

if youre on some fast bearings like balistech rock n rons and need to go slow to land a gap or somethin, then dont push as hard then you'll prolly go slow.

the ballistech rockets are the same as the steel rockets, which is what drizzle and i ride. the ballistech missiles are the newer ones and supposedly faster. i want some. i have the rocket ceramics on the park board and omg they are mindblowingly quick.
