Alright before I teach you this trick you should know what one is. A hospital flip is just doing a half kickflip in mid air and bring the board back around just with your front foot. Some people mix this trick up with the casper flip, the casper just taps the board with its back foot to bring the board around, now there since we got that out of the way, let's get to them tips shall we.
Foot Placement
Back Foot - Place it as you would for a kickflip
Front Foot - Have it in the exact same spot as a kickflip, but with more of your feet on the board. This is better for bringing the board back around.
Action
Step 1 - Begin riding at a good speed, get about two or three good pushes in and get balanced and start to do exactly as you would for a kickflip.
Step Two - By the time you begin to flick the kickflip, do not flick straight out like you would for a kickflip, instead you barely flick at all, just enought to get the board halfway.
Step Three - Once the board is halfway your front foot should be under the board, now start to bring it back. It's just like in and out, as soon as you flick bring your front foot in.
Step Four - Get your back foot out of the way! Lift it really high and suck your legs in as soon as the board is brought back to regular place.
Step Five - Ride away happy and clean.

Now some common problems with the Hospital Flip
Back Foot Does not land - Well this is a pretty big problem with this trick, you have to suck it up as soon as you get done popping the board and your front foot is in progress. Lift it up high and just wait for the board to come back around.
The board flips when coming down - Put more of your front foot on the board, and raise it so that it is really close to the front bolts. Closer to the bolts the better.
No Rotation/Board Does kickflip - Well remember as soon as you flick just bring the board straight back, don't flick out like a kickflip, just flick a little bit and bring that sucker back.
Thanks for listening, and any other problems on them just feel free to ask me.
