This is teh guide.
360 flips-
put your foot in the 360 flip foot position.
scoop the deck
catch it
ride away....
But seriously
back foot kinda at the same angle as teh curve of your tail, on the outer edge
on an angle like.
ugh i dont have a camera with me
like
im going to say 45 degress, on the outer edge, very important.
front foot between 45-90 degrees above slighty, keyword SLIGHTLY above the middle of the deck
remember
back foot on teh curve-ature of the tail, around 45 Degrees
and front foot just a LITTLE above the middle of teh deck, around 45-90 as well. do NOT try to flick / flip teh deck, it either
A. It wont get teh full 360 rotation
B. It will over flip
C. It will get away from you
Execution:
Scoop and JUMP at the same time. you need to jump so you can catch it right before it hits teh ground. if you catch it as it hits teh ground it will be hard to throw of teh stairs and ledges.
Throw you front foot off of teh board. kinda up but more of just to the side.
DO NOT get used to having to jump really far forward, try to keep it kind of under you... Some people cant have them stay under them.. personally since i learned them they have stayed under me.12
Now when you see the deck completing the spin stomp on it.
and ride away.
I when i say catch i dont mean a high catch.. these are very hard to do over things.... height is hard to get, you just want to get used to catching them even if its just and inch or two.
Troubleshooting
Oh help me oh help me....
The deck doesnt flip
When you scoop you need to pop as well, but a very slight pop. you should let go of the deck at around 45 Degrees.
The deck flips to much
You are using too much of your ankle (unlike kickflips where it is completely ankle)
you just need to kinda throw your foot of off the deck
Landing on the nose
Alright... Nearly every trick can be helped using this hint.
Posture.
some things like F/s and b/s flips... hardflips.. require you to move your shoulders before you pop but for the majority keep your shoulders square.
shoulders parallel to your deck...
when you pop, bend down.
so a quick review
_____________
shoulders parallel
bend down
dont dip yo' head in
and dont lean to far forard or backward. I find that if you need to lean on teh tre's you should lean backward.
these take alot of time to learn, and dont focus on them.
If you just try tre's for hours you will get pissed of and kill your deck, or someone else.
try them for a while, play with some tricks you know already, and try again.
one MAJOR thing
Commitment.
this is the MOST important detail.
Always expect to land on your deck.
ALWAYS.
if youve been practicing for 3 hours and you know you wont land it, expect that you will.
if you dont then either
A. you wont have teh confidence to land it
B. you will have the deck land perfect but you wont be expecting it so you slip out.
C. you land on footed.
D. worst of all... Your Shins.
on tre's, your front foot needs to shove off the side and then COMPLETE the motion, you have to follow through.
if you dont put your front foot on the deck there is a very good chance that your back foot will hit the tail, and if your front foot is near the deck it wil hit your shin and slide up your shin until it slams into your knee.
and trust me that hurts like a mo fugga.
oh my go(sh)
that hurts liek teh bitch.
anyway hope it helped. post here or PM me for more help. if you have other problems tell me and I will may add them if im in a god mood
and again, these are all what helped me. This, as with any other trick, are per person, and you may have a different method or different footing.
